The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Just got going on it before we had visitors and i had to turn it off fairly standard elder scrolls stuff so far but very early days yet

Been playing for about 5 hours straight now. It's fantastic so far.

One question though. Me and my friend can't figure out how to pick stuff up, like you could in Oblivion. I know it's possible from this video

AFAIK you have to be undetected in sneak mode. Then you can pilfer to your hearts content (I haven't tried this yet myself, not playing like that)

Haha, I meant I am not leveling sneak and acrobatics like I did in Morrowind. I am going for a one-handed weapon/bow/destruction combo with heavy armor. I will still steal stuff when the opportunity presents itself.

Dark Elf? I always used a Dunmer in honor of Jiub from Morrowind.

Are there Horkers in this one?? I remember them from Solstheim in the GOTY edition of Morrowind. Good times.

Morrowind was just a good time full stop. Played that one underway. As such I think I did almost every available quest in the game.

I was walking from Dawnstar to Winterhold and there was a seal fighting a wolf.

Just been in Tesco's and saw COD so I've been a really bad boy and bought it so unfortunatly I can't justify spending another 40 quid on Skyrim or Fifa

Gutted tbh. Although MW3 is epic to say the least.

I'm playing as a Dark Elf. Anyone with past experience know if there's any specific armor/weapon types that are better for certain races? Or is it pretty much whatever you use is whatever you'll be good at? This games raping MW3 on the Steam stats charts

Race does not matter really - you just get some starting stat boosts. It doesn't effect weaponry choices. It's the playstyle that matters - if you want to be a stealthy assassin type character, you don't want to be lumbering around a heavy two hander for example.

And as for raping MW3, thoroughly unsurprised.
