The EU deal

You put a thin veil on it, rather than coming out with it outright. And rather than calling the people you call their views (Essentially the same thing)

This is you (From a thread where you got it locked with your usual M.O. of reducing most political topic to racism)

https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/...-general-election.70010/page-532#post-3507132

All the main parties are treating the immigration issue in a reactionary manner, following the increase in support of UKIP. The UKIP message is a dangerous one. It is racism via subterfuge, scare tactics, lies and deceit. It is backwards thinking and has no place in our society. It is destroying community cohesion and spreading fear where there is none.

So, you decide who thinks what, do you? o_O

And your very next post in that thread...

Depends who's control you are looking at. UKIP have no issue with white, western immigrants but seem to with those from Bongo Bongo Land.

Now, do you continue to deny you think people who disagree with you on immigration are racist???
The funny thing is he's not even right. UKIP are against uncontrolled EU "white" immigration and have no problem with properly controlled immigration from "Bongo Bongo Land".

No, that's lies because...

I don't even vote ukip because of their stance on the poorest in society. They are self-servers, well to the right of the tories, and have written in their manifesto that people on benefits are: "A parasitic underclass of scroungers". Plus, they agreed with and wholly endorsed the highly unfair & downright nonsensical 'workfare' programme.

It just so happens that I agree with their stance on the EU and immigration. That's enough for me to be labelled either racist, or having racist tendencies, apparently...

Not entirely........ It's conversations like this which concern me.

Well, is what I've wrote about untrue?

Do those three countries I mentioned NOT have mooslim fundamentalist terrorist factions in?

Did the mooslims intervene in East Timor?

Did the bosnian mooslims fight against the nazis?

Did the Arabs kick saddam out of kuwait on their own?

If noticing (and bringing to your attention) the pattern/trend is somehow racist - then I'm racist.

why are you refering to them as mooslim? do you not realize it makes you sound like a small minded idiot??

And as for UKIP, yes I do believe they promote xenophobia and play on people's fears of the unknown, especially in regards to immigration. Does that make every UKIP supporter racist? Of course not. However, if you fear foreigners and it is evident that many are persuaded to as they recite many falsehoods, then the belief and the person actually do become very different. The thought process can become quite detached.

Xenophobia is the fear of that which is perceived to be foreign or strange.Xenophobia can manifest itself in many ways involving the relations and perceptions of an ingroup towards an outgroup, including a fear of losing identity, suspicion of its activities, aggression, and desire to eliminate its presence to secure a presumed purity

All you need is a level playing field for employment for any creed, they keep saying our youngster wont plant veg etc for £10 per hour i find that hard to believe, as a young horticultural apprentice I did harder planting than what they showed in Lincon by lining out Wallflowers in nursery bed lines with a rotovator not the machinery they have now oh I was on £11.35 per week in 1973!
I loved the work got my city and Guilds in Horticulture and moved all over the contry to become a SO1 nursery superintendent until retirement, I just do not accept English youth will not do these jobs if not then have a points system for labour- I applied to jersey fully qualified while in the common market got told in no uncertain terms NO CHANCE + NIL in big letters on the back of my reply and how they wanted their locals to have jobs! in 1979 so are we a soft touch YES!

We're really not. In regards to the EU, we all play by the same rules and perhaps if you were applying for that job now you would find it a lot easier to secure. To be discriminated against based on nationality wouldn't be acceptable for example.

Funny the decline of the British National Party has coincided with the rise of UKIP. If you dont believe Farage is a racist then listen to him slagging the Belgian EU President. He is not a colour racist, he hates a lot more than that. Also listen to Boris talking about the EU being lead by people with a less than perfect command of English. We are so good at second languages arent we!
People may have honourable reasons for leaving, and that is ok. The out campaign is riddled with racists though, Farage and Johnson are two of them.

Well it was then thought if that's the way they behave sod um did OK in my career anyway karma still hate the EU!

Wow it's their opinion like it or not better than dodgy Dave C who is like Pinocchio!

And that is a totally natural/understandable reaction. But if your kids wanted the same opportunity then surely you would hope that doors weren't slammed in their faces.

Joey. None of them are being honest. No argument in this is perfect. Find out as many facts as you can and make your mind up. The tories are fighting themselves. Because Farage is so controversial the main out campaign is freezing him out. Cant stand the man but it is he who put this on the national agenda. Decide for yourself mate. They all speak with forked tongue, except Corbyn who cant seem to speak at all.

I'm an outer anyway ;)

Interesting side note. The Muslims and the Nazis were best friends. Hitler really admired Islam and wished that the Muslims hadn't been stopped at the gates of Vienna.
