The EU deal

Trouble is there are plenty of Brits with a massive sense of entitlement. They want pay and working conditions that would make even a union rep feel guilty.

There are even more who work hard but struggle to meet the cost of living in an 'aspirational society'.

The subsidising of low pay through benefits is immoral, it benefits employers and allows them to keep wages down. Most people want to stop being strung along for the benefit of the already well off. This portrayal of entitlement is media promoted and along with immigration is used to make the public 'self policing' and in their place.

You're off topic and spreading your agenda driven bigotted bollix. Again.

Isn't it amazing how bigotry and racism repeats itself throughout history? Marginalised group, easy scapegoat, paint an entire load of people with one stroke of a racist brush.

I mean it really is a case of spot the difference isn't it?

Amazing how humanity never learns.

That's not what dandydan means. He's quite happy to spew the bile that the british are workshy and scroungers, it doesn't take a genius to work that out. The same shabite that the elitist classes hurl out so they can continue with their avaricious, freeloading lifestyles....And I mean real freeloading, on a grandiose scale.

Quite content to see the right wing's race to the bottom developing by blaming workers for wanting to hold on to the few rights they haven't had stripped from them.

'kinell - you'd think we were back in the 70's with that attitude, ffs.

What - a hypocrite?
Nope! Someone expecting a well paid job to be given to me and thinking lots of work beneath me. I estimate that attitude has held me back about 10 years.

Migrants are the hottest topic across the whole EU. I'm purposely avoiding the fact so not to get the thread shut down but it is a fact nontheless. I'll not mention them again.

Because it deflects from the reality of imposing self regulation and gratitude for getting 'some' of the pie. Immigration is sold to the publics as an issue, it is made to be an issue on a tribal sense. Where does it stop? No wools working at the Adelphi?

I'm not saying there aren't people trying to do their best but there are plenty with poor attitudes content to blame immigrants.

The term wool was discriminatory against outsiders so it could be argued using it is tantamount to bigotry.
