The EU deal

Why? So you can attack the person and not the opinion.
To be fair, if I published something from Socialist Worker (does it still exist?) I'd reference it. I usually even reference any mainstream quotes since every news source has its biases.

Breitbart is, in European terms, a far right libertarian news source. (Just as The Sun is what it is, the Guardian is what it is, and New Statesman is what it is.) It doesn't mean that what they publish is automatically right or wrong but it puts the publishing of the article in context.

Your obviously too young to remember Wilson's Labour Government having to devalue the pound. And the economic mess that led us having to beg to join the Common Market.
No one is arguing against the common market. It's the EU that people have a problem with.

I will in the future. However, the news I posted was statistical and in relation to EU documents, not opinion pieces. Which is why I didn't think a link was necessary. And to add to that I've been hounded for linking to there in the past.

BTW yes I'm right leaning and libertarian leaning (small government, rather than no government though) I forgot to answer.

I fail to see why the context matters within these pages.

If you read a copy-and-pasted report from the Guardian on here which said every EU citizen is going to be x amount better off because of the EU, your reaction probably would be different than if the same report came from, say, the Daily Mail.

if it was just free trade between the members nothing else, yes i would

I think the implication is free movement of people too.

The cynical side of me thinks that the reason they insist on free movement of people is so that they can erode the nation states and head towards one European state.

Of course it's the implication. That's the rules. Not sure why we should be treated any differently.

Although I am not instinctively in favour of massive governments and 'European states', I think pragmatically there is definitely a necessity for entities to stand up to global corporations (such as Google).
