The EU deal

Instead of answering, I'll ask you to tell me exactly what the economic plan is in the event of leaving the European Union.

You won't be able to answer, as there isn't one.

The only argument seems to be "TAKE BACK CONTROL FROM DEM DER FORENERZ".

I'd rather you just tell me the figures as you said that they were lying........

can you tell us the economic plan if we stay in,call me Dave has six promises that will change the status quo ,
its only fair if you ask a question you know the answer to it, if anybody asks you the same one

Sound. It's £34m a day. £238m a week approx. That's without the EU contributions back in projects etc.

£350m is a lie. Gove should have binned that figure and did what Farage said of all people - went with the more accurate daily figure. £350m is plucked from thin air using spin.

So tell me - given the Leave campaign says the EU imposes all these bad things on us and we'd be better off on our own, why don't they detail the things the EU currently does, and come up with a complete economic plan for the UK after leaving?

The economic plan if we stay in is obvious - the half-arsed Cameron renegotiations come into effect, things carry on as status quo by and large, and any further attempts to take sovereignty from the United Kingdom would be subject to referendum.

Cameron has ran an awful campaign and relied on fearmongering, when there's no need to - what he should have done is highlight that the UK already has sovereignty for the most part, and where we don't is because we belong to a collective that needs a higher up authority to govern the whole so as to maintain order for the benefit of all.

Right, I'm not really that childish to ignore an argument because of the person arguing it. I listened to a man I disagree with, the famous Greek finance minister (I'm not going to attempt to spell his name) and he was explaining the lack of democracy in the EU and I agreed. I don't understand the constent need to attack the person not the argument.

You're right, it is easy to mock. *slaps self on wrist*

Some are going to spend it all on the NHS, whilst others are going to spend it all on schools. Others farming, Cornwall and roads. They've earmarked 5x the amount of money that would be available.

Are we safer in or out?
out as we haven't any boders with Russia or the middle east

same if we leave it will take years to get out, might have a few weeks of panic, then it will settle down emotions will cool and everyday life will carry on, we will deal with the EU they will deal with us.
Cameron has been awful, saying that who hasn't?

We paid a total of £6.5bn in a year.

Put into context, the NHS budget is £116bn approx.

Yeah, that 'saved' £6.5bn will make a load of difference (not even saved, as we benefit financially from the EU far beyond what we put in, but whatever).

Are we safer in or out?

Honestly I think we are safer out. We are part of NATO so covered by the agreements, but we are only one of 3 nuclear powers in it. Our only possible adversary (I'm ignoring china for now) is Russia. We, the UK have no real beef with Russia and our interests rarely overlap. In Isolation we are safe from anyone. The EU however is constantly growing Eastwards and stepping on Russia's toes. If there is ever a flare up it will be because the EU or one of it's Eastern European regions pushes Russia just too far. I mentioned a scenario regarding the use of a Nuclear threat for negotiations the other day , so I will not repeat it. But in Summary, left to our own devices, we have no particular issue with Russia, and Russia has no particular issue with us. We can protect ourselves and are safer out......

Isn't the point being that our government can spend it on whatever is in their manifesto.

The immediate impact of leaving the EU isn't an issue for me. Sure, recession or whatever, don't really care, it's not long term and that shouldn't be a reason against leaving. Again, another area Cameron has had a shocker in - it's a stupid point to make.

What is important is the long term. There is a big, big issue with trade agreements, which will take a long time to negotiate and in that period we will certainly lose our standing economically in the world.

The Leave campaign have an obvious paradox that Cameron and co. simply haven't exploited - we are the world's 4th biggest economy, and we've done that IN the EU, so what exactly is the economic problem in staying?

Answer - there simply isn't one. It isn't foreseeable that the UK can do any better outside it economically, and that's why Leave isn't focussing on it, because they know that to be the case. That's why you see no economic plan, and just a load of "Take Back Control" jargons.

So your saying it's just £12,410,000,000 a year then........

Also, "safer" isn't an issue either. It's a red herring. In or out of the EU, we'd be dragged into a conflict if one occurred. Security is a complete non-issue.

The referendum at its' core is about two serious things - economics and immigration. That's it.

What would you do with the £12,410,000,000 that Tubey identified.......
