Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

This board conducts business with some exceedingly shady characters. Like the Olympiacos owner who helped them out stiffing Anderlecht on the Hennen deal:

Widespread match-fixing allegations in Greek football hardened yesterday as Evangelos Marinakis (pictured), the Olympiacos owner and president, was charged by prosecutors with a series of alleged offences.

Marinakis is accused of being involved in a criminal organisation, of incitement to extortion, of having incited an explosion endangering human life and of the instigation of bribery and corruption aimed at the successful manipulation of football matches offered in betting markets. He denies all four charges

Can't see we'll ever shift ourselves of them as a problem. Just like Bates at Leeds....even when they sell it's likely to be to someone worse than them.

1 - they have said from the outset they want professional people who sell sports clubs for a living.

2 - the board say they will do it for themselves but given that thats been going on since 1999 then there isnt much hope of it happening. Pointers say the club isnt for sale despite what they say.

Which board in the country in any line of business would let other "professionals" in to sell their business? There's plenty of people out there who would sell your house for you, but you would be stupid to let them do so.
The reason Everton have not been sold in my humble opinion is the ground which is dilapidated and also we are not in London, also and people on this forum I know will disagree with Kenwright wants it to be right for Everton.

You specifically have had this answered many many times in this thread.

You also seem to be the only one who repeatedly mentions a billionaire.

We do not need a billionaire, we require a board who have the vision to move us forward whether that Be in a new stadium or a renovation of Goodison. It might take 20 years but a plan that doesn't involve a massive handout would be nice.

We need a board capable of delivering a project like Everton place.

We need a board that does not promise that the investment cheque will be in the bank in the morning (FSF)

As ever though you specifically will ask the same questions in 5 pages time pretending that it hasn't been answered so many many times in this thread.

Name me one club outside the top four that is not owned by billionaires? Which is the club of modest means that is so well run it can challenge the top four which is what we are after.

You tell me this has been answered Joey like the font of all knowledge are all over this forum, actually its just ordinary people like you and me who are expressing their opinions. I believe we need a Billionaire before there's any chance of Everton ever winning the premier league.

I dont think you should believe all that you are spoon fed by the club and you will find that what I posted is correct.

Proof? These pages say different and prove my post is correct:

If you also pay to see the Companies House version you wont find Elstone there either.

Oh dear.

Once again the only person asking for a billionaire is you, I dont know what BU are after but what I want is a board that has a vision and a structure to progress both on and off the field. We are totally stagnant off the pitch and have been for 25 years. Coincidentally about the same time out current chairman has been on the board.

Nobody is demanding we go and win the league, all people want is a structure and a plan in place to move us forward.

Once again though this has been said to you many many times but you'll still ask the same question in 5 pages and still demand to know where the next billionaire is.

Errr this one and hundreds around the world, Google Amanda Stavely and Keith Harris. Kenwright can be quoted on this.

On your second paragraph, you know if a company is for sale but one of its main assets is dilapidated? What happens to the price of said company?

How is it that westbrom have had several party's wanting to buy them, and Everton don't even get a sniff, so much for BK search for new owners A?

Stavely and Harris. Oh Yes THE PROFESSIONALS EMPLOYED BY EVERTON. But obviously not the sort of professionals the BU would recommend. So, who would the BU recommend?

West Brom are obviously More attractive than Everton for some reason, nobody buying clubs these days, another lie by this board.

Ive no idea I'm nothing to do with them, I was merely answering a post that was so clearly incorrect

Well obviously how there going about things at the minute isnt working yet they keep persisting with it. Time to change it up and get in a third party to oversee a sale, most clubs do, most club then get several interested individuals or groups to choose from

Because West Brom didn't have a weak and desperate chairman who would allow a couple of wrongun spivs to buy the bulk of their shares which they then sit on gaining massive annual interest payments and leaving their asset parked until some mugs build a stadium for them, at which point they'll sell up at around 400% profit.
