The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Joey..with respect....it cannot be more clearer from what I have said, I'm quite prepared to debate with you but you must accept what other people say as their opinion, to which they are entitled to just as much as you are to your opinion. I have not turned on a group of Evertonians, but even if I had in the course of debate, if you can't take it, don't give it out. And please do not try to bully other Evertonians into using words they do not wish to use. As a bully youre a bit of a failure, anyway:). Dog with bone comes to mind. Everyone wishes that the club could be sold to owners with bilions and the desire to spend it, but no one, surely, wants the club to be sold to someone, however much money they have, who wants to run the club into the ground for personal profit. There is a way to negotiate, to a degree, with the clubs board, but that way does not include personal attacks, spinning the truth, or fairy tales.
I think that ship has sailed Steve

I think most people are realistic enough to know that's is an extremely remote possibility if not impossible.

What most people want is a competent board with a sense of purpose, with plans to increase revenues, invest in our infrastructure and compete as best we can.

I think the Everton board are doing a smashing job and deserve commending on the way that they run the business........is a sentence that you never hear people say.

Nothing smoke and mirrors about sting simple facts. And our CEO was contadicted simply by the fact that Stavely and others had been employed to sell the club, according to Bill.

So there is some smoke and mirrors because on Saturday night, yet another allegation from those who think the BU is the devil, you came out with this allegation.

So is that your double dutch way of saying you don't know the names, only that 'The Blue Union will employ professionals' Presumably the Blue Union will pay the fees to these professionals they employ?

So what is it?

What comes across from a particular group of Evertonians is that the important thing is to remove Bill Kenwright, etc, regardless of what the future might then bring.

Again the BU recognise that its down to the board in the end who they sell to but going on the track record of the board they ditched the bedsitter only because they found out he didnt have the dosh after he looked through the books regarding due diligence.

Didnt you get brought to task for bullying/smearing a fellow poster?

The Everton Board Thread (Inc. Bill Kenwright / Blue Union)

Didn't we already borrow off future season ticket sales years ago? I think that is what still constitutes most of our debt?

In addition we take an advance on the broadcasting revenues each year - last accounts that was at £20,924,000 but was paid off in August 2014 and replaced by a new loan.
