I thought it was the job of CEO to come up with plans to take the club forward, that's why he is paid 300k a year. Hardly the responsibility of the blue union who are fans of the club.

Struggling with that myself, it's only at the "agreement signing" stage that the complete lack of finance is found out but that's supposed to be good, or maybe this is a story meant to make Bill look by disparaging Keith Harris (someone Bill had employed to facilitate the club's sale), or my personal choice, that none of this actually happened and we have an unhinged chairman chatting surreal bubbles (as in Elvis visiting the UK etc).So a guy in a one bedroom flat gets past DD and it made Kenwright look good?
Is that what you're getting at @Steve Wigan
We'll start with this gem from the interview, can you explain how this reflects well upon our Glorious Chairman ?
If you can't see that any of the above reflects badly on the BU handling of the 'interview'

This board has made some bad decisions but if what you said is true that's got to be the biggest failure of them all. I said to friends at the time, we had just finished 5th in the league been to wembley and lost to Chelsea in the cup final, why on earth would the shiek not look at us. We wouldn't have needed the initial expenditure on players to crack the top 4 that city did, albeit we would have needed a new stadium. Not trawling back through 244 pages but:
My work brings me into fairly regular contact with Mansour and his team of hangers on.
A few months after he took over city was the first time I met him, and after the usual small talk, then business and then back onto small talk I asked him "Why City?"
We looked at a few clubs, we approached Everton but recieved no encouragement to proceed.
Call it bs, agree, whatever you feel. That's what I was told. By the man himself.
Anybody who claps his fat mug next time it's on the screen needs to remember that.
and don't forget our boy bizarroIf anyone knows about the club finances and loans it would be The Esk.
My worry with this whole situation is that everyone seems very angry and finally fed up of the board, but nothing much is being done about it. I've heard of no protests planned, no ideas of how to apply pressure.
Just lots of people on the internet running their mouth (myself included) We really need a plan which the majority get involved with.
So what is the role of BU????? to just criticise?????"The People's Club."
You can only understand where we are now, and how the board is likely to behave in the future, by looking at it's illustrious past history. And once you've done that, there's the realisation that the board and the fans have diametrically opposed interests and objectives.Lads this constant reference to the past is not moving the club or the fan base forward in any way.
We all need to look forward and explore how all interested parties can work together for either new investment or new owners.
If you can't see that any of the above reflects badly on the BU handling of the 'interview' in which Bill gave what appeared to be honest answers(e.g. Bill was the one who 'smelled a rat' re the 'potential buyers' that Hayes came up with.) and in which Bill gave honest opinions, there is no way forward. The main aim of the BU/BK meeting should have been to establish at the very least a desire to hold further meetings, instead of which the BU representatives acted like third rate James Bonds or Sun reporters and resorted to scoring what they thought were 'points' in this game they are playing. THey set back any hope of joint cooperation back probably too far, at least until the end of Bills term .

Most of the fanbase still haven't got a clue what they've done in the past and then there is the people who defend the board and say the exact same things every other day which obviously means they're going to get the same answers.
