The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

I've seen it marketed in Asia. They're calling it Red Poop eau de Toilette.

Frankly, it's yet another example of how far behind our Board are in aggressively marketing our club name. I bet they've never even considered the idea.
This is your fight d, I just wanted to say del smells kopitey and get on with my day x

They are redoing Ashton Gate soon.

You are right though about the Stadium being used all year. York City's stadium will have a retail complex and cinema on it.

They are, after spending millions on not building a new one! Be sharing it with Bristol Rugby as well.

So now we're blaming the board of 1892 for building Goodison Park in the wrong place?

Stadium placement is key, inner city with planning issues, but easy travel (except car). Or in the outer limits with public transport problems, and less suitable for events. No easy answer.
No wonder you have mad in your name where do i mention anything about 1892 its a discussion about how other clubs utilise the
stadia for more than football

One of my customers is hoping to win the sub contract for the M&E on it. It will be another new stadium / stand that i will quote for.

At least we got a big marquee the other year

*sighs

Hahaha, we have sold all our solid assets under this current regime and replaced them with leasing our training ground.

What do you mean, Mooms?

Goodison Park Stadium, Limited is owned by The Everton Football Club Company, Limited

We mortgaged it out (with Prudential?), which isn't the same as selling it.

To be fair, your post read like it was criticising the thinking behind the placing of Goodison Park.

Everton seems to lack any forward thinking

I took you completely out of context. Deliberately. I beg forgiveness.

Netherton training fields sold, Bellafield site sold.

Everything else is mortgaged to the hilt. That's why the annexe never got built on park end, and they tried to spin it off as IT issues and they were waiting for the end of the season before starting.

I've just got one thing to say.

Everton are boss.

We're going to get a new stadium shortly. I just hope its big enough or the club have a plan to expand it quickly or I will be concerned. 50k isn't quite big enough. Plus we have got to make it generate money 24/7 as @roydo says.

One final thing:

Everton are boss. Just in case anyone missed that.
