The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Neither of the above has got anything to do with this thread.
Quit trying to get a reaction just for the sake of it.

It is - read the comment on the first response:

What an absolute crock of white dog [Poor language removed]. The squad needs to be overhauled??? Do one

Martinez has just been given £36m to spend, if he chose to spend the majority of that amount on a striker then take your grievance up with him.

but then you'll argue we needed lukaku; the problem with people like you is that you are never happy. 80% of clubs operate the same as us, buy an asset and sell at a higher value to invest. Its business basics

Davek keeps saying Naismith isn't good enough and the squad needs to be overhauled then uses this as a stick to beat the board with.

Directly related to the topic under discussion.

Its nonsense. Naismith is good enough.

You were trying to get a reaction from him. Whether or not Naisy is any good is irrelevant.
Carry on arguing if you like, it won't end well.

I'm not - read the thread and the topic that was being discussed:

Over hauling the squad and if it is needed or not.

Are you trying to get a reaction out of me or dave; either way yourbbecoming increasingly annoying

We've spent £36m in the window and on the evening we bring in a World Star as a reserve striker, we've got people who still can't even give the club any form of credit for the present and would prefer instead to harp on about previous events.

It's unbalanced and lacks objectivity imo.

There's a perfectly good thread at http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/steven-naismith-though.66151/ for discussing the merits, or otherwise of Naisy. I suggest, nay insist, you keep it in there.

As a reminder to all, it's still August and therefore silly season rules still apply.

See http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/its-that-time-of-year-all-read-important.68962/ for details but, for those who are hard of reading, I've copied the bits that are particularly relevant to the situation here.

What that means is over the coming weeks we actively ban anyone who;
  • Goes against any forum rule (No warning - Instant ban)
  • "Just looks a bit of a tool/wind up merchant" - at the discretion of the moderator.
With that, a reminder that we do ask that all visitors follow our guidelines to ensure these forums remain user-friendly. Read all here, and pay particular attention to the below

Those 'previous events' continue to shackle this club and hold it back. Bury it all and put your head in the sand if you want. They all still apply.

They don't preclude the management from making good decisions in the present either, but you can't find it within yourself to acknowledge that simple fact

Good decisions? What pray tell would they be? Putting out their hands with the rest of the PL owners for their cut of the extra tv revenue then passing on a fraction to his manager?

I dont blame you walking away from defending that position you took up.
Don't confuse not being arsed with continuing a conversation with you about an issue that you've got zero objectivity around and is therefore akin to talking to a kopite - with not being able to 'defend' an obvious fact.
