The Everton Board Thread 2014/15

Is it time for change?

  • I'm happy with the way thing are. Kenwright and the Board should stay.

  • Kenwright and the board need to go. We need change.

Kenwrights failing has been to go for the 'easy' option with Martinez - in order to keep his own, Kenwright's, misconduct at board level continue unabated. Unquestioning, smiling, not say boo to a goose - he didnt care that the warning signs from Wigan - relegation, failure to adapt his style to the realities of the situation - were flashing out like a beacon at him.

The standard management tactic of appointing weak people underneath them to ensure their own positions are not threatened.

He might of gone for the easy options, but we put up with Moyes for a decade and a lot of fans were happy we did so. Same with Martinez, ok there was some reservation because Wigan had just gone down but at least he had won something and there was good reason to go for him. Cant blame Kenwright for this.

On another note...

I am reading that Tesco are pulling out of Kirkby?

Tesco/Knowsley promising the earth, thousands of new jobs, a regenerated town centre, an "effectively free" stadium for Everton?

Lets not ever forget what a bunch of true Evertonians did for our Club exposing the farcical scam by all those involved.

Way to go Everton Board....joke

Christ! What happens to Kirkby now then?

KMBC must be livid! It was 2007 when Tesco/KMBC first started with all that 'partnership' nonsense; imagine being strung along for eight years only to be left in the exact same scenario as when it all started, and after publicly vilifying your own town centre as an inadequate dump to all and sundry.

So Tesco are pulling out, but what about the rest of the development? Are there going to be any new shops at all?

Hmmm...how long has BK been in charge at Everton? I think we as supporters know exactly how this feels don't we? :celebrate::celebrate::celebrate:

Yeah dead gullible, you must look round goodison and be proud of the fantastic stadium we now play in, and why am i amazed that we see this thread reappear now we have some bad results.
nope..I think you will find I have been making that statement for over a decade now...

PS...guessing you were a proud Kirkby "yes" voter? What swayed you? Elstone's lies of a video re the stadium? Stubbs? BK?

Anyway...as I have said..same old same old with Bill and the Board. Not bothering with them anymore.
