The board just being the board as normal , why is anybody shocked anymore at the lack of ambition.
midtable and happy with it.
lot of pressure on mori coming good if he is a dud and results dont improve its going to get ugly around xmas.
they havnt helped the managers credibility either we need a number ten. Then three, two one in, then two attacking players coming in made a bit of a show of him there, and the fans wont fall for it off him again,
not that the board will give a care about that though
I wish things actually would get ugly, but the moment there's some unfriendly noise they'll announce some discounts on season tickets and/or some vague stadium plans and that will pipe everyone down for six months.

We fans are just as unambitious as the board sadly.

I think this transfer window again demonstrates the chronic need for investment in the club, otherwise we will just continue to stagnate. It seems to me that we had some funds available at the start of the window and used these to get in Deulefeu, pay any Cleverley signing on fee etc. We then have the ridiculous situation where we are hanging around for almost 2 months waiting for the latest TV funds to be paid so that we can pay off the loan we took out last year and then borrow some more money so we can start bringing in additional players. In the interim several of our competitors have potentially been able to get in before us to sign players who may have been on our original target list. And so it continues, next summer will be the same unless we sell a significant asset early in the window or by some miracle we either get external investment, the club is sold or, God forbid, the current board actually put something in themselves.

Nxt summer lukaku/Barkley/stones/Coleman one of them then followed by the rest at a point will be sold. Just to familiar pattern with this joke of a board. I fear for the long term future unless change is Guna happen. It hasn't in 16 years so why will it now?.

He will be sold either January or nxt summer I didn't mention him because I forgot about him

Absolute BS. We've just turned £30m plus for him, but all of a sudden they'll all be sold. Desperate for money and we also turn down £8m for naismith??

I think you need to understand the difference between no investment and the need to sell to survive, we are not at the latter stage

Like Baines 2 years ago, Barkley last summer and Stones this summer you mean?

Oh wait.....

Well thought out that lad

And fans will accept this.

Some may try to protest but the good yesmen will continue to bum Bill and will make them pipe down.

We need serious, frequent protests. Sadly, we won't get them.
Attacking and insulting other Evertonians is not likely to ever get them our your side. Perhaps less vitriol towards every day fans and more reasoned critique of the board would result in the changes we need?

Who's attacking other Evertonians?

They are yes men. That's exactly what they are. They're spoon-fed dirt, told that it's sugar and dismiss anyone who wants to tell them otherwise,

People are happy that we kept 'our assets' (stones, Barkley, McCarthy, lukaku and Coleman) but without investment in the next 12 months you can't expect all of these players to still be at the club. Just like the fans, these players want the club to show ambition and invest in the team, privately I bet they are disappointed with our dealings. The failure to bring in a number 10 is criminal, and without that playmaker within our team, it is not going to fulfill it's promise. Another top 10 placing and a spirited cup run is not going to appease our top players that everton is the club to fulfil their ambitions.
