Rumours he has cancer and six weeks left to live. As Ijjy said though, this is Twitter.

Very strange that he hasn't made a statement about Kendall.

Whatever illness he has, I wish him a speedy recovery. Nobody deserves that.

very fair point, sort of thing he does brilliantly as well

Bill's been great for us. However he's feeling and whatever happens he has a place in a lot of Evertonian hearts. Any decent criticism has only ever been about lack of massive funds (or by extension not taking advantage of optimal commercial opportunies), but I don't recall ever hearing or reading any fair criticism of the man himself.

Here's hoping for some positive news.

He has been ill for quite some time now, which is a real shame, i'm not sure if it's intensified over the past few weeks or not but i hope not, i hope he recovers soon and can spend his time away and in peace a bit now.

I think that's part of the now very real urgency to sell, especially to someone who he knows will do okay with the club, but his health is clearly not permitting him to do his duties as a chairman as he'd like and he is quite old now.

Hopefully any potential deals with a takeover are done quickly so he can enjoy his retirement away from football and recover quickly.

Whilst i don't like him as a chairman or businessman at all, he is an Evertonian and is meant to be a very nice bloke so i hope he isn't seriously ill at all and it'd be horrible to lose someone so soon after HK.

All the best Bill.
