But we had trips abroad before and finished higher plus got further in the domestic cups. It is a moot point though different manager and players mostly. Like RM's first season it is now history we need to look forward. BTW had more money to spend than our EX had.

no but our board gave us a decent transfer budget . it wasn't their fault we finished 11th. that was down to manager tactics coaching players tiredness injuries etc. for the board to change that 11th , how much more would they have had to spend ? 30 40 50 million ? would that have even changed much ?

ive got issues with the board , but a different argument and a different way of going about it.
imo this group are ridiculous , impulsive , embarrassing in their actions and unrealistic in their expectations.

Since 1999 we have supposedly been up for sale and the board have got exactly nowhere.

yea and there has been protest groups who have got us nowhere too.
but I'm not arguing that point. yes , we need new owners for certain reasons.no I don't think a bunch of idiots flying a banne is the right way to go about it .
but I like the way this club is run , I'm not asking for 100 million transfer budgets and big name players in every transfer. I like what we do on the football team building side in the main . what I don't like is the lack of vision off the pitch.

Team building?

Everyone and his dog says we are under staffed players wise.

Also if you believe, I know its hard too, what this board has said that they are not the ones to progress the club then you have to agree with them.

in comparison to who though ?Liverpool ? how much have they spent to not win a cup or win the prem ? what about qpr ? how much did they spend to end up in back in the championship.
id also say every fan of every club would say they need more players ?
money spent is not the be all and end all .

we have a good squad , but yea need more .... and always will need more because its a constant work in progress. but that's it , progress , and on the pitch the squad has progressed. off the pitch we haven't.
I just don't think acting like complete bells , has the backing of the majority of fans , does any good , or is needed.
id actually say 50% if not more would like the board to go. id be amazed if 1% of that 50% would back this groups actions though.
what is it , just over 100 likes on their twitter campaign and less than 100 at their meeting ? they have no mandate.

There is a huge majority of anti-board feeling around, why is it that we only ever fume about it on forums, and never get out and protest?

There is not a huge majority against the board, most Evertonians are realistic we have major problems funding and ground etc.. Changing the board unless they are Billionaires will not make any difference.
Also great phone call on talksport yesterday an Evertonian came on and said all those that criticise Kenwright for being "the best Evertonian", if their better Evertonians ask them to re mortgage their house and invest in Everton. Excellent point. Criticise him for having no money but not the man.

Not being funny mate, but if you look round the Everton forums, twitter etc, there is a huge anti feeling against the board, and lads I talk to at the game aren't happy either. Also, BK may have re mortgaged his house (that's the total of his investment in all these years, and it wouldn't surprise me if he hasn't already got that back) but you know if he eventually sells he's not going to do too bad out of it.

Not necessarily. A different ownership might actually look for investment to progress the club which then could make it an attractive prospect for a billionaire takeover down the line. You have to take the small steps first before taking the bigger ones.
