Not being funny mate, but if you look round the Everton forums, twitter etc, there is a huge anti feeling against the board, and lads I talk to at the game aren't happy either. Also, BK may have re mortgaged his house (that's the total of his investment in all these years, and it wouldn't surprise me if he hasn't already got that back) but you know if he eventually sells he's not going to do too bad out of it.

Well said mate

no but our board gave us a decent transfer budget . it wasn't their fault we finished 11th. that was down to manager tactics coaching players tiredness injuries etc. for the board to change that 11th , how much more would they have had to spend ? 30 40 50 million ? would that have even changed much ?

ive got issues with the board , but a different argument and a different way of going about it.
imo this group are ridiculous , impulsive , embarrassing in their actions and unrealistic in their expectations.

Well mate what do you propose to bring about change?

Just listening to a phone in and they have Sunderland fans discussing how bad the lack of investment is and the presenters agreeing, and then on another call talking about how Everton fans should be happy with bill because he's a blue and has the best interests of the club at heart (as he will only sell to the right person of course). It's crazy - no protests or pressure will change this, might as well not bother

Which call in was that mate?

I didn't name it because it skews people's reactions but it was talksport. I know they wind people up on purpose but this wasn't exactly Adrian Durham Tuesday afternoon filler territory, it was Michael gray who usually comes across as reasonable on the open lines Saturday evening bit and was actually started by a blue coming on and saying the same thing.

Thanks mate.

if their better Evertonians ask them to re mortgage their house and invest in Everton. Excellent point. Criticise him for having no money but not the man.

Be damned if I'd give him credit for doing something I think a vast majority of ALL Blues would do if they were presented with the same situation Bill was. Mortgage the house to buy Everton...where do I sign? He did exactly what any desperate fan would do if the opportunity arose.

While I think its positive that the banner was flown before the game today, I wouldn't hold your breath about the message getting through. Even if Bill reads it, he'll end up signing Emmanuel Adebayor thinking he's got it spot on.

Is bill I'll? Wasn't at the match again

Yes seems he was to ill to get there, which is a shame as he would of loved that showing from us on the field.

Its something we need to think about with regards to protests, not that i don't agree with the protest but you can be sure its a easy stick for the media to have a go at blues with. Protesting with banners with his name on while he is to ill to attend the match is something that wont go down well with the media, and we need more people besides Stan Collymore to get our concerns across.

To be fair they should have been doing this for years mate. We know Kenwright is loved by the media so it should have been a 'sack the board' effort. With him being ill now it'll make even more of our fans more sympathetic to Bill and hence the board.

The slight difference is with all respect he DID its easy form any one to say the would when the option isn't there.
