Do keep up, Dougal.

£28m on lukaku.

£27.5m on other operating costs - including lawnmowers, apparently. I could buy a big enough fleet of combine harvesters to gather the harvest of the entire russian steppe AND canadian prarie for that sort of moolah; nevermind a football pitch & a training ground (That we used to own but now hire)

Dead well run, us.
The training ground well if anybody is in doubt about this board they want to have a look at the details of that fiasco.

How about a serious debate. If you think that money has gone somewhere it shouldn't have gone, state your case, with evidence or justifiable opinion. You are not suggesting there has been a criminal misappropriation of funds, are you ?

No. But I want to know where the money's going/gone. It wasn't on lawnmowers, and I won't have my intelligence insulted by being told it was.

Why is the commonplace business action of selling a property and leasing back in order to release funds a 'fiasco' just because its Everton? Is it a fiasco when the HSBC, HM Government, many large department store groups, and other major ,successful business concerns do it ?

Is that 'investment'?You know, the 'investment' bill tells us he's after?

I call it 'flogging the family silver' , meself.

Its conveniently ignored when the pro-boarders [Poor language removed] anti-boarders off, but when the boot is on the other foot its brings out the usual 'they dont represent the majority of the supporters, they are divisive and they think they are better Evertonians'.

For another foul-mouthed example read old Kipperites, Halewoodblue, Tweets under his name Si Currie.
That halewoodblue of kipper he was a bit of not right him, couldnt take anything he said seriously , honestly thought he was on a wind up at first .
Dont like slagging fellow blues off but he is a bit of a daft to put it politely

Some of it was, but youre being selective and very naive if you are seriously thinking that you can base an argument on interpreting that as all the ooc went on mowers. A little googling will tell you what accountants usually include in 'other operating costs'...why don't you start there?
