I think you are right, and that's the worry. We could get man city type buy out and that would be fantastic ,but highly unlikely for the reasons we all know.
If you take Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd and possibly the S---- out of the equation where has there been a takeover that has made a massive difference??? Watch what you wish for it might happen.

How many times have I heard this . How can we keep going on like this ? Depending on Work Permits to be able to get a CB on the cheap and pinning our hopes on Saint Bill and Elstone being able to deal with Eastern European dodgy chairmen in the hope we can get a near world Class player while Stoke ( F'ing Stoke ) can just go and sign a world class player without all this crap . The 3rd player is going to be Lennon ( on loan) or another South American forward nobody has heard of with a scoring record Stuart Barlow would distance himself from .
