This now makes no sense....brilliant

The research is pretty easy, no need to start too far from home. Link about a North West Tonight tv programme many of us actually watched. I also remember the photos of Amil Ambani's nephew in our director's box next to Blue Bill just chilling and taking in a local game prior to his monthly visit to the Lisbon.

BBC´s North West Tonight have this evening claimed of significant interest from an American source in a takeover of Everton.

Their report also claimed Bill Kenwright to have rejected three ´serious´ consortium bids within the past twelve months.

Everton manager David Moyes recently reiterated bewilderment with the lack of takeover interest in the club since being publicly placed on sale in 2008.

Moyes "Everton would be a great club to buy. We have a consistent and great fanbase and we have assets and money on the pitch.

"We have a decent training ground, we are obviously short of a stadium, and the chairman is out there lobbying. It is a good club to be involved with, it has a great history and there is a lot of value and investment on the pitch."

re: Legitimate offers

My original post asked several questions about buyers, price, date of transaction, etc...

Still haven't seen one answer.

Enough of this. Either come up with the goods or move on to another Everton site where they lap this sort of ****e up.

its all there, if you look. for the whole truth start prior inquiry,"echo" and carry on. if you get through the outright lies and spin, you will see all you need. if you can't be bothered ,thats no ones fault but yours.

Legitimate offers.

Still waiting.

Good luck.

Why wasn't that a legitimate offer? If you knew anything about the affair you'd know that Kenwright and Woods used their block shareholding to refuse to countenance a bid for their shares and concocted the FSF *deal* to head Gregg off at the pass.

I think you'll find if there's no will to sell there's no chance of a buyout.

There's professional people who are available to watch on video stating that Everton FC allow enquiries about the club from substantial bidders and then simply withdraw from the process without explanation.

Maybe Everyone's lying other than Bill Kenwright? Doesn't seem like a reasonable conclusion to draw though really does it?

Put the gun down Bill.

There's a slight flaw in your request....a transaction won't actually occur until after a contractual agreement has been reached, and neither will a buying price. I reckon most on this site understand that sort of "****e". Many Americans will too.

If you don't like what GOT publishes try Kipper. (y)

...and hence the money quote in Prentice's latest article:

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif] But some fans will still refuse to accept it, but until one investor goes public and makes it clear that Kenwright is either asking for too much or deliberately blocking a sale it’s difficult to argue with.
And none ever has.

The operative words being "Some fans refuse to accept..." and "none ever has."

Case closed mates. And if it's so easy to find all of these legitimate offers, no doubt it'll be easy for you to provide all sorts of links and factual information to back up your claims.

The fact that you continue to tell me to do the research tells me, as I already know, that you've not got a leg to stand on and cannot provide one shred of evidence that Kenwright and the board have turned down legitimate offers for Everton Football Club.

Best thing about the article is the comment from the bitter kopite saying we wouldn't be in this mess if Moyes was as good at working on a limited budget as Benitez was.

God bless the deluded bastards.
