Yeah right, as if Mr Elbows is gonna win PFA Player, isnt that the vote that other players do?

But I did say he would be best player in the World 2012, so its time for him to shine.

Fellaini, wearing white at Madrid next Season - you heard it here first.

Yeh hes destined for class and being the best. If he went to Madrid which i think you may be right with that, then he'd go with my best wishes

It's less than three minutes long. Please take the time to view this.

I seriously doubt you speak for all on this forum mate. The poll Sharpy did (that seems to have vanished) gives you an ide of the general strength of feeling against Kenwright and many of them will take that view because they accept that Kenwright has rejected takeovers in the past, and now that he's powerless to accept one, because he's a puppet of others, blame him still (and rightly so) for standing in the way of a takeover.

You can use words like 'liar' and 'talking ****e' all day long (what part in 'the big boys debate' does that play, by the way?). It doesn't change facts.

Oh dear Lord Dave. You're becoming a caricature of yourself.

That was some crack reporting that.

"Sources say." "We understand." Heh...if I didn't know any better, I'd swear I was about to listen to a report on transfer rumors.

As it stands, that report failed miserably. Still waiting for:

1) The legitimate buyer's name
2) The legitimate buyer's price
3) The date Kenwright turned them down for a "better deal."

Funny that the top journalism you linked to there didn't answer the questions that I've continued to ask and you've continued to evade.

You're a sad sad individual.

I did laugh at your last statement though. "It doesn't change facts."

Heh.

Mr TX Bill

Try clarifying what constitutes a legitimate offer, and if it is a formal written offer, why anyone would actually go that far without being 99% certain from previous prolonged verbal negotiation that it would be accepted.

Or are you saying there have been no prolonged verbal discussions and meetings with serious interested parties?

Legitimate as opposed to "Hey Bill, we'll offer you $1 for the club to take it off your hands" or "Fortress Sports Fund."

I'm not saying there haven't been verbal discussions and/or meetings with any serious parties. Unlike some on here, I don't claim to have inside knowledge of those sort of discussions and if they've taken place.

What I'm saying is this:

1) There are various members on here who are CERTAIN that Bill Kenwright has turned down real, concrete offers for the club in order to maintain his control over Everton FC. This is just one of the many sticks they use to beat him with.

2) I'm asking those various members to verify that certainty by providing any sources, links, publications, etc.. that can verify those rejected offers.

3) They have been unable to do so.

It's easy really. For the record, I'm for more investment or a change of ownership to get that investment provided it's someone or a group with Everton's best interests at heart.

But I'm not for false accusations of our Chairman, regardless of what is thought of him.

I deal in facts. Unfortunately, there are some on here who don't.

"facts" the FSF was a fact according to bill, so will you admit that the board ,and bill in particular, has lied?

None of you are going to agree I reckon. When a good point is made or middle ground is sort or reached then the goalposts are moved to encourage further hostility.

So many obsess over this issue rather than do something productive about it.

In short; please merge this with the Moutinho thread please mods.

1) glad you at least accept that the fortress scam was not a legitimate offer, and that it raises a true (and clearly serious) accusation of impropriety against the board.

2) why would someone put forward a written, concrete offer after months of negotiation, and due dilligence of the books, knowing that their valuation falls well short of the amount being asked? If you're not saying there haven't been negotiations/meetings, clearly the valuations under discussion are not being agreed.

3) Everton Football Club Company Ltd is a private limited company, not publically listed. Offers and negotiations are not routinely made public.

4) it's clearly not in the interest of current owners to make verbal valuation negotiations public, or written offers from parties weird enough to make one after having already been told their valuation will not be accepted.

5) not in the interests of prospective buyers to make their failure to succeed public either, for - loss of face, football is incestuous and owners of the next club on their list won't want to deal, fans/players at a club they may buy will know they were second/third choice.

6) North West Tonight tv people are Bill's boys, it's largely unknown for the local media to use anything that may embarrass him.

7)

PMSL thinking back to those heady days of Billy Liar telling everyone how the new FSF ownership structure would pan out - what each party would end up with at different stages (or 'tranches' of investment), and the local press getting right behind it all telling us stories of the exotic trust members with names like Robert Steelhammer, Penelope Pitstop and Emily De La Von Schpritzelberger.

Then it all went dead. No gradual tailing off of the concocted story...just killed stone dead and dropped as a subject of conversation by the club and 'heroic' investigative journalists in the local press like Dave Prentice.

And then some daft buggers continued to give the lying ****er the benefit of the doubt - that he's a genuine feller who wants the best for the club.

You cant fix stupid, I suppose.

More insults Dave. Careful if I was you.

I must admit, i do find it funny and a huge coincidence that North West tonight run practically their whole sports feature on Everton being sold - coincidentally around the same time as Season Tickets are up for sale and then we never hear about it again. Fans in the majority are cottoning on to it now.
