1) glad you at least accept that
the fortress scam was not a legitimate offer, and that it raises a true (and clearly serious) accusation of impropriety against the board.
2) why would someone put forward a written, concrete offer after months of negotiation, and due dilligence of the books, knowing that their valuation falls well short of the amount being asked? If you're not saying there haven't been negotiations/meetings, clearly the valuations under discussion are not being agreed.
3) Everton Football Club Company Ltd is a private limited company, not publically listed. Offers and negotiations are not routinely made public.
4) it's clearly not in the interest of current owners to make verbal valuation negotiations public, or written offers from parties weird enough to make one after having already been told their valuation will not be accepted.
5) not in the interests of prospective buyers to make their failure to succeed public either, for - loss of face, football is incestuous and owners of the next club on their list won't want to deal, fans/players at a club they may buy will know they were second/third choice.
6) North West Tonight tv people are Bill's boys, it's largely unknown for the local media to use anything that may embarrass him.
