Lost a lot of credibility with that comment. Tim Cahill doesnt give a monkeys about Everton- the same Tim Cahill that has the Everton crest tattoo'd onto his arm, that kisses the badge and has given years of loyal service.

Its not even about Everton anymore eh Dave?!

"We're building something here". Are you trying to tell me that this feller is speaking his mind and really believes that? Not for me. He's just going through the motions with tired cliches that dont work anymore. We're building toward another tilt at 7th/8th place, He knows it and is just seeing his new (and enormous) contract out.

Tim Cahill is looking after #1. Kenwright is looking after #1. Moyes is looking after #1.

Not a controversial statement in my estimation.

Whats he going to say?! 'This season is going to be awful, we havent signed anyone- the club is in turmoil, Kenwrong is a douche bag?!'

Get a grip. There are some players that are there for the money- Tevez anyone? Cahill in particular is Mr Everton and cares about the shirt he wears.

If we really believed that players that play week in week out didnt give a funk about the club why would we bother?!

If Moyes was purely looking after number 1- and we are in as bad a state as you say, surely he would gone along time ago. Villa were interested, are they in a better state than us? Why did he come out and publicly say that it would be a step backwards for him?

Seriously- those straws you are clutching are falling all over the floor.

i have yet to see anything from the board that gives me confidence for the future. the total lack of comment, investment and anything resembling a business plan to inprove finances leads me to believe their holding on for a miracle,i.e. a billionairs who will just throw money about, or another "deal of the century" stadium either way, i have no faith in any of them to do whats best for the club anymore, just themselves. and that includes bill"boys pen, cannonball kid" kenwright. nothing they have done inspires confidence, the list of failures grows every season. until someone can actually give a proper reason, and not that rubbish"leeds" excuse, then i will attack their failures with passion and commitment.

They're in the business of selling a fantasy at a club like Everton. I'm not saying Moyes or Cahill dont have a regard for fans, they do. But they know that we're nowhere near achieving anything. Hats off to Moyes who last season broke the trance by saying 7th may be the best we can get. Unfortunately he blots his copy book constantly by saying Kenwright's the best chairman we can get!

It's a businees and they work in it. They know there's only a few trophies available that'll be snapped up by elite clubs. I go back to where I came in on this: being asked whether these people would put up with the club in the condition I and many others argue it's in. Yes, they definitely would and do put up with it. Dont take their continued presence as any sort of guarantee that things are ok and getting better still.

You're making the mistake here of getting too personal. You and a lot of other people. I have to laugh when you say I dont tolerate other people's opinions. I do. I certainly dont call other posters names or question their 'agenda'.

Troll? Apologist? Yeah Dave, holier than all.

Edit: 'Brain dead', 'carpetbaggers'.

None of them care. Take Cahill for instance. He comes out with 'we're building somenthing great here' line this week. Can you credit that? Building something great? Now, unless he was talking about three coffins for kenwright, Woods and Earl, he's taking the piss.

There is that hatred, reasonable as ever.

Davek, man i didnt always agree with you but i still always had time to read your posts and respected your opinion. At first i thought you were just being controversial because you have disagreed with probably evertone on here. Now though im starting to think you dont have a clue what your talking about!!! sorry man but this is nonesense

Location:Dublin, Ireland, Ireland.

So good you named it twice.

To be fair to Dave his views dont change, so not sure why all you pro-Kenwrongers think you have a chance to even touch the boy.

Enjoy your 7th places.

You think we want Hicks and Gillette.

Hell, Bill can even stay, if he ponys up some cash or gets 1 of his super rich friends to pony up.

The facts are, his awful business sense and his total inability to run a football club mean we are left without a pot to pee in.

Oh my god.

Whats Moyes going to do?! Publicly come out and slate his boss FFS?!

At least Moyes is no longer saying survival is our first priority every season- remember when he did that for about the first 4 seasons????!

And thats down to Moyes, Moyes has moved those goalposts.

Imagine if we didnt have Moyes, my word, my very word.

Yeah right, as if Mr Elbows is gonna win PFA Player, isnt that the vote that other players do?

But I did say he would be best player in the World 2012, so its time for him to shine.

Fellaini, wearing white at Madrid next Season - you heard it here first.
