Ill give you one thing- you bring the fight, constant, never ceasing, unstoppable. It does feel like that its not even about Everton for you anymore, its the principal of it.

The bottom line for me is- yes its blindly obvious for us to advance we need a change but if it meant an ownership like Magnusson (sp) at West Ham, Portsmouth, Man City under the thai, birmingham, etc I would rather wait. The massive catch 22 is the person looking for buyer is also the person with the vested interested.

Seriously- what are the realistic alternatives at this time?

And, using your own methodology about Kenwrong, if you have been in 'the vanguard' of 'substantial' action to get the board out over the past years, you have been spectacularly ineffective in your stated aims and should be ready to hand the reins to someone else who is more competent.

Unless, of course, it is your train set?

I seriously doubt you speak for all on this forum mate. The poll Sharpy did (that seems to have vanished) gives you an ide of the general strength of feeling against Kenwright and many of them will take that view because they accept that Kenwright has rejected takeovers in the past, and now that he's powerless to accept one, because he's a puppet of others, blame him still (and rightly so) for standing in the way of a takeover.

You can use words like 'liar' and 'talking ****e' all day long (what part in 'the big boys debate' does that play, by the way?). It doesn't change facts.

There's no definition available to clarify what a "legitimate offer" consists of, so it's subjective to TX.

Given his requirements for a transaction date and price, TX must be talking about a formal written down offer.

I reckon 100% of serious potential buyers would first want to talk to Bill/Green about the sale value they're after. Then float a verbal offer past Bill/Green to see whether they were close on valuations. Then conduct full financial due dilligence.

Only at that stage would anyone of sound mind submit a "legitimate offer".

But, and this is the connundrum that TX's request for "legitimate offers" faces.... if anyone had got that far..... and still thought Bill/Green's overcooked price was reasonable against the club's financial position, we'd now be sold.

Try clarifying what constitutes a legitimate offer, and if it is a formal written offer, why anyone would actually go that far without being 99% certain from previous prolonged verbal negotiation that it would be accepted.

Or are you saying there have been no prolonged verbal discussions and meetings with serious interested parties?

Part of the point of that above, which I know you are intelligent enough to realise, was that some of your arguments can equally well be turned around 180 degrees.

For example, according to Sharpy's poll, the same arguments used in your analysis of the Kirkby vote mean that 99% of GOT membership are not interested in any change of the board, since they didn't actually vote for the top option...

I really don't have any problem with people on here disagreeing with my opinions, whether it's about team selection, transfers, club management or ground moves. Especially when they are people like Sharpy and Goat, who are passionate about the club and team, both good and bad, on here and have been for years.

That is where I think you personally lose a lot of people (me included):
I have never read anything by you that shows any enjoyment of the team or the club or a match. It's always about the board or snide comments about other Blues ('Kenwright apologists' et al) who don't agree with every one of your viewpoints or manager/players when they come out with something you disapprove of ('ginger prick' et al).

I don't know you so I have no idea why that is. But a change in presentation might lead to better acceptance of your views.

Really good article. Not 100% accurate on some things but generally spot on.
