Are you reading it wrong? He's said he got all the way to face to face meetings with these clowns only avoiding it by the Icelandic ash cloud. Eyjafjallajoekull to the rescue. Only at Everton...or only in Bill's head more like it.

reading between the lines it means that bill is willing to sell the club/invite investors ONLY TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE. your taking it too literally

He's willing to sell it to someone who can hand him and his puppet masters a massive wedge. *Right people* my arse.

Moyes excluded in that. Its the commercial activities of the club that need to keep up with Moyes and his squad. Which is not happening at the moment, and we're forced into "Stop start Stop start" kind of stuff.
 

How come it was alright for Liverpool to go on protest marches but it's not ok for everton? It's not like we'll be burning American flags!
 
Great line here from the *ambitious* Moyes deflecting criticism of stagnation under Kenwright:

"I don't know whether stagnation is the word," he says. "In the 10 years I have been here we have finished in the top 10 seven times. Now if people actually think Everton should be doing much better than that, they need to look at things."
