His picture went up on screen, some people booed, they then showed the RS score, people clapped, then they carried it on.

To be fair, you're right there was booing as well as clapping.

tbh - When it first happened I was just watching the game and was mystified as to why people were clapping. The guy next to me pointed out that BK was on screen. The clapping tended to drown out the booing ... at least from the Park End, might've sounded different in the Gwladys St.

It's really not going to go away though is it? In relation to the *highs* of 2004 and of 2009 we'll have another poor season barring a miracle. The finances will continue to flatline at best, and the squad will be thinned out some more until something is eventully stretched beyond breaking point, and at that point even those who've settled themselves into the cosy warm bath of mediocrity will start complaining. It's an inexorable drift in favour of those people who want shut of the board and a new era to begin.

Honestly dont think thats why it happened

I believe that there is more people on BK side than people first thought

Could be....personally I think a whole load of people are not particularly supportive of the Board, but do not feel represented by the Blue Union....sort of 'they are not us' sentiment. So I agree with the
Librarian....also think Neiler has a point, I do not think this action will drive positive change

Whats your point mate, i think everyones aware of this, the board have put the club up for sale, its cicular stuff tbh.

I think people are protesting for the sake of it tbh, everyone is aware and acknowedges from the club downwards our situation is unsustainable.

Given all the evidence, the years of lies, the mess the Club is in, its safe to assume that anybody still supporting the current Board is not really very clever.

I cant answer that question, I cant count people clapping and I didnt see the protest.

This argument is rubbish; “If you don’t agree with me you must be stupid”. Just because an opinion (that’s all it is) differs from your own, does not mean the gainsayer is “not very clever”.
I look at where we where under agent J and I thank god we have improved to where we are today. At a time when the entire premiership has got better, not only have we kept pace, we have overtaken a lot of teams that where comfortably above us at the end of the season. We have improved the squad immeasurably, from aging, past it, stars and journeymen to top professional footballers.

I’m not a complete “glass half full type”. I recognise things could get better and I acknowledge that this administration has made mistakes and missed opportunities. Conversely, things could also get worse. Under the stewardship of the Kopite the fear of relegation was real. That anxiety no longer exists for me...

But they dont mate. I give you the words of Bill Kenwright yesterday:

'If I didn't think I could make this club successful I wouldn't still be here. I'm not downbeat. I'm 66 but I still think the best is to come.'

Scary stuff. Blue Bill - 12 years in charge and showing zero apptitude for the post - declaring he's seen the promised land and he's going to lead us to it. He's overseen one of the most unsuccessful period's in the history of the club in terms of competitive success. That should send a chill down the spine of all blues.

"Agent J" built the Park End and didnt add as much debt to the Club as Kenwrong, he only sold 1 Star Player in his time.

The only difference is, 1 is a kopite, the other is an Everton fan.

EDIT

Oh and 1 had Walter Smith, the other has got David Moyes.

Discredit away.

They dont speak for me, they dont speak for you, they speak for them.

But therein lies the problem.

They think they DO speak for the average Evertonian and if anyone disagrees with them, then the those people, by extension, support Kenwright and the current board.

That's no reason to back a limp horse.

I have to bite my lip because I dont want to discredit them openly.

I wasn't referring to the BU specifically mate. The BU weren't around until a few weeks ago. The feeling that the current board have had their chance to get us where we belong is widespread and long held. They're just an arrow head.

Well for some reason, my words have an annoying added weight behind them. I guarantee I'll receive a bickering e-mail or two on the back of what I'm about to say.

They're Blues - trying to do what they perceive to be the best for the Club we all love.

But they're a piss poor representative fan group - 'led' by too many egos who are tagging onto this Blue Union desperate to elevate themselves as super fans. I can take egoism - but only when the brain warrants it.

An example of that would have been immediately withdrawing from the interview with Kenwright when they heard they were not allowed to record it's contents and promoted that very fact...

They need a brain and a face. Someone like Silas on here. They dont have either. Until they do, they're doing more damage than good. Yesterday demonstrated that.

And now there is public support for Kenwright. Where did that come from?
