If that isn't a statement that BK is not running the club into the ground i don't know what is. 'Isnt beyond the realms of possibility that Moyes will keep the club afloat'.

Where does it say he's running it into the ground though? All that's saying is the we have to rely on Moyes to keep the club where it is, which is true.

If Moyes didn't do what he does, wed be up **** creak and in league 1 based on the lack of effort the board put in to help the team. Kenwright dropped lucky on him.

All they do is find ways to pay the bills. Success for the football club is solely down to Moyes who gets all the freedom he wants to make things work within limits.

If Kenwrong needed to put 5mill to buy a player and save the club from relegation...I bet you he wouldn't do it and tell Moyes to sell someone to help out.

That is the point. Kenwright keeps the club a float. Moyes keeps the team punching above its weight which helps the club stay afloat. If Moyes never arrived, then kenwright would've driven the club into the ground.

So far all he's doing now is treading water

This really is getting ridiculously pedantic. As far as i'm concerned if somebody is saying the manager's transfer dealings is the only thing stopping us from imploding then you're saying the leaders of the club are running it into the ground. A well run club would survive such a thing.

Their statement that it is likely the club won't be kept afloat without a change to the transfer policy is over the top at best, that was my point.

Fair enough.

As an example, do you think we wouldve finished 7th without the business dealings in January this season?

Personally think we wouldve finished around where villa were, all because we had to sell 4 players to service the bank and pay for 2 loans signings. We also had to sell again in January to get in players. So with that, I'm guessing the transfer policy is spot on.

It would be interesting to see a season where we run out of big players to sell and see what shape the club looks in then

How does 'running it into the ground' (an active attempt to ruin something) equate to 'not a well run club' (which implies buffoonery on a grand scale leading to ruin or near ruin)?

Training ground sold for £8m leased back for £1.2m and rising over 80 years

Goodison has 11 mortgages and we can't build on the land in any way

Best english player, potentially ever, sold to keep us afloat.

Players being sold with no replacements coming in despite us having one of the smallest squads in the league. And having to rely on loans to pad the squad out.

TBH I don't know why they dont just come out and state the obvious. Trying to be all things to all men means they are nothing to most.

Somebody just PM'd me this, which puts it to bed:

We believe that our simple solution can put an end to what is a tragedy for all matchgoing Evertonians. We’re asking Bill Kenwright to do the right thing for the club for once, the club he tells you he loves but is clearly running into the ground. It’s Time For Change.

See above.

Also, i don't know where you got that definition, but running something into the ground does not mean you are actively doing it. You can run something into the ground by ignorance.
