I think our club is a long way from being well run and I'm far from convinced that there is a reasonable asking price on the table however the figures quoted in this thread (obviously originally by Charles green) seem a long way from anything even our beloved leader would have the b*lls to ask for .

Puts an end to that then.

Strange of him to use that as an example as hes involved in the game and probably knows a fair amount behind the scenes of football.

Couldve just been off the cuff.

Who is gonna buy us for that much when, theoretically, the new ground any owner would probably have to fund for us would cost even more on top of it? They'd be looking at about an £800-900m output!

They'd have to re-do a ground mate, not the city.

I think some of you are doing charles green a dis-service.
He and his group have been looking for a club for a while, that may have been the price mooted to them from Kenwright.

If the blue union and Kenwright interview taught usanything, its taught us our chairman is financially naive and puts emotion before facts; I wouldnt be suprised if that was Kenwrights value.

Just seen an advert for the new Sky Arts programme which is the search to find the best Amateur Dramatics group in Britain.

Guess who's one of the judges?

FFS KENWRONG.

Mate, Everytime I take the wife to the theatre, it always amazes me how much BK's name is literally Everywhere !!!

The theatre impresario was also quick to rubbish suggestions Everton are among a small band of Premier League clubs reportedly in opposition to Uefa’s Financial Fair Play proposals. We are not against any kind of financial fair play,â€￾ he said. “We have to abide by financial fair play because we wouldn’t exist if we didn’t. We are not against it, but we just want more talk and more consultation about it. There are a lot of people who don’t understand it and it needs more discussion. We have got to make sure that the clubs that do have a tough road to survival can stand up and be counted alongside the clubs that have huge incomes thanks largely to benefactor owners.â€￾

I dont blame him: the owner of a club that cant generate cash, cant build a stadium to generate more cash and only has the prospect of a takeover to look forward to.
