In honesty the fact he's an Evertonian makes a massive difference yes. But my basic point is what, or who, is the alternative?

In the last ten years fifteen english clubs have spent more gross then us, 14 more net, 8 have higher wage bills and nine top flight clubs have less debt. And in terms of income ten get more money through sponsers, eight more through commercial means and eight more through tickets on match day. We make a loss every year so have to sell assets (our training ground, wayne rooney, mikel arteta etc just to make do)

So the answer would be any of the owners of the 15 clubs who outspend us would be better as they all earn more money and so spend more on the team.

Charles Green of Rangers claims that everton is only for sale for between 300 and 400 million pounds. If that's true then lots and lots of potential owners will pass us by because you can buy Man U for that money.

It is through good luck rather than good management, but I do think Kenwright's tenure has seen Everton stabalise and move away from the very dangerous relegation battles that were taking place 10 to 15 years ago.

But how anyone can defend someone who wanted to move Everton out of its home city of Liverpool, and into some crap cheapo stadium in some small town that is 9 miles away from the city centre is beyond me. What's worse is that he was willing to lie to the fans in order to achieve it, through saying Tesco were donating 52million pound towards the construction of the stadium, which was just 100% pure bullsh*t.

Anyone who wanted to move Everton out of Liverpool and into some shed of a stadium just because he thought it would see him net a greater return when he sells his shares can just fack right off as far as I am concerned.

Hi Dell - excellent wind up mate, but on the off chance you're serious (though clearly deluded) and not connected to the club, I just hope you don't end up with the club that you deserve in say four, five years time.

Man Utd have a market cap of over a billion don't they?

What is the relevance of the fact that there are 15 clubs that have spent more than us? Or higher wage bills etc? Surely we can only spend what we can afford to? Or do you want us to get into more debt?

Or is your basic point that Kenwright should put more money in? Presuming this is your key point. What if he hasnt got any more to put in? He's openly appealing for investors or a buyer isn't he?

Do you think there's some big con whereby the Everton board are deliberately not doing their best to raise commercial income? Isn't the fact that we just don't have the assets or wider marketing appeal relevant to this?

I don't buy that Charles Green comment. Is that the only source about an alleged unduly high asking price? As I said before if there was a genuine bidder offering £Xm of serious cash that was halfway sensible then there's no way it'd be kept secret in my opinion.

Amount of "investment" Kenwrong has placed into Everton since taking over :

£000000000

Amount of "investment" I have placed into Everton since he took over :

£9,000(Est)

I'm not saying the board are delibirately not doing their best to make money, but since when is incompetence a good thing?

The business is not making money, we're losing money every year and our debt is increasing and as a result we have less money to invest in our playing squad. That's a bad thing. I don't see how you can reasonably argue that the board arent doing a good job when their sole role is to earn money for the team and they're not doing that as well as half the rest of the league.

And given the sheer ammount of clubs sold since Kenwright started looking for a buyer, it's worth questioning exactly how good we are at attracting investment. Because the answer is we're awful at it. And since our sole business plan is to basically lose money until an investor turns up, the fact we're awful at it is kind of a big deal.

There are plenty, but none who will meet Kenwright's presumably ridiculous asking price for the club.

You're not exactly covering yourself in glory with that reply are you?! If anyone wanted a serious crack at buying the Blues from Kenwright and pals do you not think they have a ready made avenue to stir the pot by slipping a few details to the Blue Union lads? The fact there's been nothing of the sort is quite strong evidence to say such parties have never existed.
