I see in today's Daily Telegraph pages that Sir Philip Green, the reputed "money broker" of Everton FC, is finalising a muti million dollar deal to sell a 25% stake in his retail empire. Does that we get a transfer budget for Jan and the summer and a new stadium? Come Sir Phil gives use some dosh.

Yes at an extrodinary intrest rate all payable by next summer.

was Billy Liar at the game today?

While everyone has the right to their opinion,i do feel you dont see the whole picture,we are in a massive depression very few people have money to buy premiership clubs.
The Majority of Evertonians back Kenwright, this can be seen by,the majority voted for Kirkby,Blue Union could never muster much support and i have never heard an anti Kenwright chant at the match.

We're not in a depression.

And the majority of Germans seemed to think Hitler was boss back in the day.

Fear, manipulation, CLUB loyalty and a growing apathy protects Kenwright, IMO there's a quiet anger bubbling away among fans but the "punching above our weight" label quells them.

We've had a bit of expectation with the new Moyes model but sell Felli without replacement or Moyes goes OR BOTH and the first sniff of slipping to mid table will open the flood-gates.

Wish we at least had a PLAN to go forward, instead of simply 'maintaining the status quo'.

Swansea & Fulham have both announced stadium expansion plans in recent days.
West Ham - the jammy bastards - are going to end up with, essentially, a large & modern stadium for virtually free.

We really need to make an effort not to be left behind on the facilities front.

I,ve heard that Bill will have 3 visitors in one night... soon. Ghosts of takeover past, present and future.

Can you guess.

Chatter on another forum today that the new overseas TV rights could be worth 90M to clubs in the EPL each season soon....YET our owners have no intent to sell and are happy to cream off the TV rights for the forseeable future.

Hats off to all.

How are they going to 'cream off' the TV cash exactly?

The fact that the majority of are fans(well those that got a vote, i didnt and neither did two of my mates as we had are season tickets in my mates name so he could get them on his clubcard) voted for kirkby, says a lot about are fanbase, despite being told repeatedly by fellow blues it was a crock of ****e they fell for the bull that bill and co spouted, in the long term they deserve to be treated like mugs because that sadly is what they are..
