What is the reason we can`t attract investors in the club ?

If you mean buyers...cost of complete refurbishment of GP or a new ground with sufficient space/ corporate boxes to give us a chance to compete, money to invest in players, on top of the purchase cost. Unfortunately, history and tradition is not worth a lot in financial terms to a hard nosed businessman.

Hard nosed businessmen don't buy football clubs or rather they do but then they stop thinking like hard nosed businessmen.

Do you mean a business plan or model for progression?
Alternative, workable options have been proposed and put forward, and ignored as they are not in the interests of the current incumbents.
This standing still with fingers crossed approach is tearing the club up.
There is a wealth of potential when compared to other clubs, so, by process of elimination it has to be the demands of the board that are the obstacle.

hello Magic..nice to hear from you. The question was why will no one invest(buy ) in Everton. Potential is only potential if the funds are there to kick start the potential and turn it into reality. What would you estimate would be a realistic cost to include buying the club, building a stadium or rebuilding GP to maximise income, and buy players to compete with the likes of Citeh, United etc., dare I say it, possibly find a coaching structure that could cope with the egos, temprements etc., of these world class players we would be buying? New owners would most likely wish to get rid of David Moyes fairly quickly if he could not change the habit of a lifetime and win something.Bit harsh, that, about Moyes, he is better with his back to the wall, when he can over achieve regularly, but given players equal to those at the top European clubs, would he be able to win Cups and titles? My opinion is that he would fall short, but maybe we will never know.

Why would you want to spread the name of the person behind the site?

He gets less credibility for not coming out with his name, but he does represent a valid viewpoint of some fans. Me, I live in Sweden and couldn't really be less arsed if someone thinks I'm less of a 'proper evertonian' than them but surely there's room for debate regarding, and between, the different groupings of fans?

Agreed.

Likewise Steve,
Figures can be twisted, but few would believe that an influx of 10's of millions is necessary, enough to push on and keep momentum going forward, which, to Bill's gratitude, Moyes has managed to do on a pittance, would probably mean around 15-20 mill for a push into the areas that make money generation self sufficient.
We missed that this window. Money could have been leveraged against either qualification of an unwanted sale of Fellaini in the summer.
Not so sure at the prospective owners wanting shut of Moyes, he is the reason the club have had opportunities to expand. Moyes would be included at the top of an inventory of assets the club has. As for his back against the wall, who put him there?
The analogy against city and utd is moot, a team ethic has shown to still be able to compete against them, its the back up, reinforcements for respite and rotation that is strangling any advancement, an advancement that the board are hindering and demonstrably not interested in changing, for what end?
Boils down to do something or do nothing, and we've had a whole lot of nothing from Kenwright et al for too long.
It's tempered by Kenwright 'supporters' saying we aren't doing a 'bad job' and 'be careful what you wish for etc', but they are dealing with a situation created by themselves (the board) but a much better job could be done with change and with it the wishes, hopes and aspirations of the club as a whole.
The last window took a lot out of supporters and I genuinely believe that had a knock on effect on saturday, the team felt the anxiety of the crowd of missing out after so much effort.
Until Bill accepts totally that his 'vision' for the club is piling too much pressure on the team, then I fear we are heading for a big fall, that, could be Moyes going, and the better more valuable players following suit.

The ground is probably the biggest obstacle to progress at Everton. It beggars belief that Kenwright hasn't addressed the issue. Especially since he knows it can be redeveloped as he paid for the GFE plans to be drawn up.

Myself I'd use the extra tv money to at least make a start on redeveloping even if it means not strengthening the team for a few seasons.

Me too, but it'd be a risky strategy as you could end up with the best ground in the Championship.

How often do we fill our stadium and is increased size preferable to new players?

Our need for a stadium solution isn't borne out of the need for a larger capacity, it's become a necessity due to the age of the Old Lady & it's increasing unsuitability for top class English football. That's why our stadium issue is such a millstone.

We have an opportunity to sort out our stadium issue here, but the cost is potentially making ourselves uncompetitive on the pitch for a spell.

You could argue that the converse would potentially be a better option i.e. spend the money on new players that see us competing at the top end of the table & in the CL, which would increase revenue & therefore allow us to invest in the infrastructure. However that too is a gamble, as you could spend the money & still fall short.

So it's a real 'chicken & egg' discussion tbh.
