Steve lad, I'm sorry you don't care about the way this forum works, and the effort I put in to obtaining the £65 mil valuation. But while you're on this site you'll goddam adhere to its ethics.

'goddam' 'ethics' Get the 'ethics' right then. I didn't realise there was a 'meritocracy' amongst fellow Evertonians with the same aim. And at 72 years of age , and 65 + years supporting Everton being spoken to as if i was a naughty schoolboy by the self appointed 'head teacher'(!) is very reminiscent of water off a ducks back. It is all about debate...not about one upmanship.

It's been more than three years since Kirkby died and it appears the board still haven't identified an alternative strategy or made any real effort to sell. I honestly thought they'd have accepted the inevitable and named a price by now.

I'm starting to believe that Kenwright's plan is to simply hope TV revenues keep growing long enough for him to see out his days as Everton's owner. The fact he's managed to convince 'friends' to shore up enough shares to protect his position makes this quite possible as long as he either keeps Moyes on board, or finds another manager who is talented but also unfashionable enough to not attract any better offers.

There all nuts, both the BU and this crowd let the fan base down. Imagine the wasted energy in setting up a pressure group to put pressure on a pressure group, the internet gives all these loons a platform. Its a pity because if there was a brain cell behind either the BU or this crowd - we may get a proper fans advocacy group and have a constructive relationship with the club.
Regardless of personal opinion and im no BU fan as you know, both bodies are a waste of constructive energy trying to score ridiculous points by conditioned rhetoric. Fans deserve better - so its all pretty sad really.

So what have you done to set such a group up mate? When is your first meeting? Have you got a website? Any meetings with the board planned?
I'm sorry but i'm sick of people whining and sniping at the B.U when they have contributed absolutely nothing themselves. It was a group of normal everyday fans spending their own time and money to try and improve the situation at Everton. Not a dictatorship either, but a democracy. If you weren't happy with their aims and ideas, then everyone was welcome at the public meetings to put their own ideas forward, If you cant attend a meeting they were available to contact online. You may not agree with the methods of the B.U but nobody can question their intentions.

There is a lot of presumptions mate, firstly you presume i and every other evertonian agree with their aims (which for me) they didnt adhere to one bit post infiltration and a lot of the sensible lads got pushed out many were members on here so not the democracy you describe. I wholly deplore their methods as sub human - how you can attribute them to making Evertons situation better is beyond me - want to explain to me their contribution? I wholly question their intentions in whatever form be it the combination of splinter groups, Keioc, or the BU - whatever public face or website they are working on at anyone time. They have done nothing but been a blight and lower the reputation of the club and their comment and analysis is leveraged - i hope - because if not its seriously idiotic and simplistic.

Why arent they marching now? its always a question that puzzles me has anything changed from when they started. Why didnt they march at Wembly last year?

Not having a go at you mate, because i know you believe what you believe and sounds like your involved so i wish you luck. I just have strong feeling about how they have acted, their methods and the negative effect on the club, nothing borne out of that much hate can ever bear fruit. To answer your question what have i done? nothing very militant - nor do i feel the need as much as i did under Johnson, as i have my own ideas of what goes on at the club and the options available - everyone must develop their own opinions - that is vitally important regardless on what side of the spectrum of the debate you stand on. I've been to a fair few shareholders meetings in the past and made a contribution and had tough questions answered in the appropriate manner. Lets be honest here anyone in the BU isnt looking for a transparent process to engage with the club, their looking to oust the board and as such are a led balloon in the sense of a group in terms of working in partnership.

Just to qualify what i am saying i wouldnt be arsed if Bill Kenwright or anyone on the board was gone tomorrow once it was good for Everton, if i felt he was harming the club within certain margins i would round on the board - i dont - i think they struggle to find margins within a context - but are honest about it and we have a team beaten only three times in the league this season going for 4th and a hell of a chance in the cup. So im not at all against any type of change or takeover, im all about the specifics and the context.

Don't lecture me on ethics son, I am a Gold Forum Supporter and I've seen disruptive types come and go, mostly Kenwright supporters.

Like Steve, I'm not sure whether you're joking. I Hope you are. You mightn't agree with him or even like him but show him some respect.

Thanks for that. I don't think he's in a position to like or not like me...he's never met me. A fair discussion is all people want, whichever side of the fence they're on. I suspect he may be someone I've debated with on another site(maybe), with a new name.

I disagree with most of that mate, and some of it is simply ludicrous (sub human!!?) And i was going to do a long winded reply answering each point, but frankly, we would still have views at different ends of the spectrum at the end of the day, so there is no point really. It's good you have such a passion for the club though, and that is something we certainly share, so lets hope we have a cracking end to the season.

I think it's a bit ridiculous to use words like 'sub-human' to describe what the Blue Union did and then in the same post laud Bill Kenwright's board for its honesty. Kenwright, his CEOs and his communications team have been shown up as outright liars literally dozens of the times over the last decade.

As far as I can I remember, the last time Kenwright actually came out and told the truth was when he announced to the world that he wouldn't sell Wayne Rooney for £50m. True to his word, he didn't sell him for anything close to that amount.

The Fortress Sports Fund money will be in the bank on monday guys.
Goodison is going to fail it's safety certificate soon guys.
Tesco are going to help fund Kirkby lads.
I wouldn't sell Rooney for less than £50m and that's a fact.
David will have money to spend in the Summer transfer window (2010)
David will have cash to spend in the Summer (2009, and i suppose he did. After Lescott was sold)
Kirkby will be effectively free
I PROMISE to find investment

He's honest guys, honestly.
