....thus ending the possibility of any further meetings. You really don't get it, do you?

Ha Ha Ha. Did you read the rest of the 90 minute content they got to the bottom of? Nothing on the accounts - apparently there's nothing to ask about them. Still, they got a few biscuits and got feedback on the Dixie dean statue.

We MUST keep this sort of backchannel open.

They got digestive biscuits, next time they might get hobnobs.

Tea and biscuits are very important at this stage. If they can squeeze out the concession of a cup of Twinings English breakfast tea to dunk their Hobnobs in, it'll prove that real substantive dialogue is ongoing. It's all symbolic.

At least it's being spent wisely. Lets just hope all our our mowers are in good nick or we'll have ring big phil for another handout.

I am no great conspiracy theorist, but it doesn't take a genius to work out that any set of shareholders or fans in general that manage to rattle the cage of Bill and Bob are immediately dismissed and no further dialogue in ensured.

They have severed ties with anybody who asks difficult questions or does not go along with everything they say.

You can blame the last one on the BU all you like, but as the banning of shareholders meetings also was a bit much for them there is most definitely a familiar pattern there.

Deserves it own thread really but have a feeling it will be thrown into the same grey basket thread.

Good piece. It should be clear who Everton borrow money from and where, in turn, that party receives its money from. And if Leeds fans could force disclosure of what people lie beyond the facade of the BVI financial vehicle that controlled their fortunes then Everton's should get that same courtesy.

That's a raw nerve concerning this board of directors and their relationship with one another that needs pressing.
