Its astounding that not one penny has been invested into their ownings to try and grow the product. Its in their interest to grow it so they can sell it for a nice profit right?

There's some who own a large part of the football club that are sitting on it as nice ISA, seemingly not arsed about how the club performs or what the fans get out of it in the interim while that value matures.

That's my biggest gripe. And that its meant to be sound about not winning something for twenty years.

Never mind an asking price that is prohibitive to us finding owners who do value Everton as something to try and grow.

In short, a nest of scheming bastards.

Why would they invest tho?

The Clubs "price" grows every year, Sky inject Billions into the League, their investment is sound, CL football wouldnt grow their investment, a new Stadia would, which requires probably investment or CL football, winning a trophy wouldnt grow their investment, so they are more than happy to plod along and watch their investment grow, whilst the Club treads water for a few years waiting for something to happen, the only thing would harm their investment is relegation, thats the 1 thing that probably has to happen for us to get rid of the vultures in charge of our club.

Does anyone else feel, that on the pitch, we are very very close to something special ??

If i'm being honest, i felt it, then thought the transfer window would push it further, now i'm looking forward to the summer and seeing if we can push forward

Earlier this week the Association formally wrote to the Chairman urging him to make a decision, at the next board meeting, with regards to the timing and place of the 2014 Annual General Meeting and immediately thereafter notify all shareholders.

We will comment upon his response as soon as we receive it.

Link doesn't work, this is the correct one http://www.efcsa.org/2014/02/13/letter-chairman-everton-fc/

2014 Annual General MeetingAnnual General Meeting

When the Everton Shareholders’ Association attended the General Meeting of Shareholders on June 26th 2013 we were pleased that the first hand raised in support of our requisition to reinstate Annual General Meetings was that of our Chairman and largest shareholder Mr Kenwright.

We were extremely disappointed that a notice for the 2014 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders was not issued alongside the recent publication of the Annual Report and Accounts 2013. Consequently, and inconsistent with long standing tradition, Shareholders currently have no idea when they will be able to debate, with the Board, the Annual Accounts and the Director’s Plans for the future.

We will be writing to Mr Kenwright to urge him to discuss this matter at the next Board Meeting and immediately thereafter notify all Shareholders of the time and place of the 2014 Annual General Meeting.
