Moyes needed them. Time and time again. I'm no Moyes lover by any stretch but I'd be a bell to say there weren't times he was very close to making us a force. He was continually let down by his bezzie.

My lack of sympathy for Moyes is down to his shielding act and disdain for fans. I'm gutted for Everton FC

I agree with all of that, mate.

Still, the optimist in me is giving our board one more summer to come good. They're well-placed to do it, financially...if the accounts are transparent and if Martinez was telling the truth about the funds of the Jan window.

Battered wife syndrome perhaps?

Snapper...is acquiring massive investment the like of Chelsea and City what you would call 'growing the business', or is it more akin to winning the lottery. This is not a loaded question at all, but could you give some examples of clubs that you consider have 'grown their business' without a sudden influx of big money?

This crowd we have in situ have no plans in place in whatever field you wish to name.

From ground move right the way through to sponsorship the ideas cupboard is absolutely bare.

more like long-married-but-losing-faith-in-hubby's-ability-to-excite-her-life-post-menopause wife.

Weird that you took on the role of the woman in that scenario, not gunna lie!

Anyhoo, no doubt once bill's had his prescription of little blue fella's(sky money) he'll give u a right rogering

Anyway......

What's peoples opinions of the board in general, as opposed to Kenwright alone?

If they're not willing to invest, should they sit on the board at all?

They are on the board to do a job if they wont do it then they should move over and give someone else the chance.

Jon Woods has just sat on an initial investment for 14 years without any single known useful incident of activity of benefit to the club.

Robert Earl is just doing the same.

Philip Carter pffft

More like Stockholm syndrome. We have been held hostage by this charlatan for so long, he has finally worn you down and you now care for him like a lover!

Apparently we should cut the chancer more slack and ignore the last 14 years and give him another chance.....

There's about 5 similar posts on every page of this thread - what about a proper discussion of the board as a whole instead of sarcastic sideswipes at one member of it?
