In respect to the Arse aspect of the discussion.

They have bought £435,965,000 worth of players, compared to our £266,745,500 since 1992 and still managed to build a world class stadia.

Yeah, but we have a hall of famer as chairman. Plus, the winner of the prestigious Howard Kendall award.

That trumps Arsenal's new stadium.

How much have they got in on player sales in the same period ? What wages do they pay? Are they in London? Havent we already said that their turnover was almost double ours in 1999 , and progressively since....didn't they have a waiting list of 20,000 for season tickets, enabling them, along with other items(like player sales) to obtain finance for their new stadium...first mooted in 1999, to be built by 2003, but taking almost ten years beyond this original date?

You quoted turnover in 1999 and told me, yes told me, to use Google. I took those figures are genuine and true.

I used Google to get the turnover for 2013 and you didnt like that and questioned it.

I dont take to kindly to your attempt to bully either.

I didn't question your figures at all. I also checked the current figures, and the figures are right, just as my figures, taken from a 1999 Toffeeweb Financial Information statement, were right, despite the fact that you suggested mistakenly that I was lying. I don't lie. Neither do I bully, I simply ask questions. Its called trying to move the debate forward.

Nope.

Relocation began in 2002, but financial difficulties delayed work until February 2004. Emirates Airline was later announced as the main sponsor for the stadium. Work was completed in 2006 at a cost of £390 million.

What does London matter?

The top 5 Premiership spenders since 92 are 2 clubs from Manchester, 1 from Liverpool, 1 from the Midlands and 1 from London.

Everything else you stated is utter rubbish.

Deflecting. If all you can come up with is 'What does London matter?' Spending on players and income from sales are what the usual suspects keep banging on about..the negative net sales' jibe. How much have Arsenal recieved in income from player sales in the period you quoted? 'Top Premiership spenders? Since 1992? For Man City try 'since the sheiks too over' for Man Utd try 'biggest club in the world for a number if not most of those years' Chelsea? Abramovich money. If you'd care to read the thread through, you'll see that the crux of the discussion between Snapper and I was whether any club without mega investment, who had taken a punt on buying big(Portsmouth, Birmingham, Norwich,Stoke, Villa, etc..all of who have been 'outspending' Everton , according to the Anti board faction) had been consistently more successful than Everton...success is relative,...we all want to win the league, or make the top four. No one, including me, has been able to come up with a club that has been relatively more 'successful' than Everton, despite 'taking a punt' and investing in new players using owners money (Stoke, Villa) or other minor millions.(portsmouth etc). Try again.

Ha ! You've put me on ignore. says it all. Bit of a relief really .;)

Tbh lids yer both acting like kids. This is a thread about the Everton board. Kindly hop off and argue about other matters elsewhere, leaving us all to scream "sack the board" and wonder where the Fellaini money is.

Sorry..all I was trying to do was move the debate on reasonably, as requested quite rightly by Groucho...unfortunately after a while it got personal. Hopefully we can keep on track.
