It's ok mate, he's awaiting davek's approval to post an adequate response, he first has to negotiate his way out of daves arse to ask for permission.

Dont foget to put the cap on next time, lad it will save a few quid in car repairs.

LOL And there I was thinking you didn't care, fortunately it cost me very little in the end. If you're in the market for a Ford Focus with burnt plastic on the underside of the bonnet though then pm me.

no, for £75 mn we lease a facility that cost £10 mn to build.
So a case of long term pain for short term gain, but not even that as the yearly fee was £1.5mn
so we immediately gave back the money to the people we got it frim.
sound business that eb?

The £75m is what exactly - the lifetime cost of the lease?

The facility was built by someone else, we sold a patch of scrub land and lease a training facility. Your argument is a total nonsense.

We couldn't afford decent training facilities, yet we train in world class ones, and ones that we have the option to buy at a later date should we want to. Makes sense to me.
Or we could of saved 1.5mil a year for the mower fund and missed out on FF.

WE should have used the money from the Bellefield and Netherton land sales to fund the new training facilities. Or, push come to shove took out a loan to fund it. But i doubt that was option because we have already took out loans against everthing we own. It's a bad deal full stop, and part of Wyness's plan of outsourcing every thing to make a short term gain.

Stop talking sense.

Were the banks not at the door every year and we couldn't get another loan? We certainly couldn't afford a world class set of facilities. The property you mentioned wouldn't of paid for it and the difference would of been taken out of the transfer budget..
Potentially could of seen us miss out on Howard or Lescott I believe (think it was that year).
If it was say JL that's 24mil + league position lost right there. We can buy it back for around 20mil at any time, but for now I dont see the problem.
Think we did the right thing on this one.
