I'd imagine it would be alot more than he originally bought the shares for.

Earls time at everton has nicely coincided with the premier league boom due to the huge increase in tv rights

Well he seemed to have appeared from nowhere to "help" with the Kirby project, presumably to make a decent return off the back of that.

He didnt, (make any money), the cash he used to buy Greggs shares is about 3% off his estimated wedge, so any half decent offer might tempt him.

Just thinking out loud really.

TV money makes it an appreciating investment without doing anything to grow the business.

Always the chance of a windfall buy by seriously rich Arabs etc

Plenty of ways to take steady money out of a business, legally and not so legally in the meantime

He's holding on for the big wedge, as is Bill

Would appear so. Its his version of holding a few premium bonds I guess.

Don't be daft. As has been said time and time again if you're that convinced something dodgy is in OOC then you should report the club to the relevant authorities. Auditors check those numbers and are given full access to spending, so unless they're being paid off (perhaps that is part of the OOCs...) then that claim is a stupid one.

Those costs fell this year regardless.
Auditors checked Enron's accounts every year, where are they (and Enro) now?

Theres nothing illegal about making payments to people.

The FOI request on his dealings with kmbc chief exec explained his willingness to board the DK gravy express (ncluding holding pens and bicycle park), what he was expecting to make on the side would have to be matched, presumably bettered now
