Well if they do complete a purchase and it all goes wrong, then relegation and all that follows will happen.
If they are worse or no better than the current crew, then Everton are officially the most unlucky and jinxed club in world football.

The best we can hope for I think is to be put in a position where the fundamentals are more attractive to another buyer, one with real clout, somewhere down the line.

The thing is how do you improve the football and improve the accounts at the same time.

It could be a Shinawatra situation before he sold City to Sheikh Mansour. Some approximation of that is the best case scenario. I would see 777 being in and gone on the same timeframe as Moshiri.

A little insight into their dealing

Personally not convinced frying pan & fire come to mind
Initially, I hope so for both our sakes...unless he's left a shed load of debt that is and not got the Razzle (in the shape of BMD) in his pocket as the second prize.

If the rumours and reports are in fact true, we're going to go through a difficult transition period with some ups and downs, whoever buys the clubs.

We're a loss making organisation with an expensively assembled but ineffective squad, so that will need to be rectified. Profit margins will be worked on.

Still, the Moshiri era has been a failure, which means we're going to have to take the rough with the smooth.

Sad but true.

I don’t think any blue would be against an up down approach if it meant in 10 years we were in a similar position to Brighton/Brentford where the model works? They’re making profit, and ultimately in the top half.

I’d rather that than the current circling the plug like we’ve done the last 2 (and counting) years.
