The Everton Board Thread

I just cant bring myself to have a go at Sharpey to be honest, thats just me and maybe thats the reason hes there.

What i would say is the media or those using them need to shut their cakes - we are entering a pivotal two weeks were razor sharp focus is needed on results, fighting and supporting - we need no distractions, seems like an article a day either about legal proceedings, takeovers or stoking unrest and civil war - curious coincidence.

It all needs to be parked.
Honestly, there's enough material for a brilliant one of those Hitler/Downfall videos.

A desperate Kenwright insisting everyone around him is wrong.

Once it's over I bet Sharp comes out pleading innocence cos he was only following orders.

Get in the bin, panda nonce.

We don't know weren't interested in a full takeover...they may have be interested all along but just under the right terms.

Is correct, I expect the news about the 777 complete takeover was to push MSP back to the table.

Don't care who it is as long as it is a full take over. Percentage investment deals still keep Moshiri as majority holder and wont change anything. Just kicks the can a bit further down the road. He has got to go along with the entire board.

It will change everything as the others will own a fair chunk of the club and will have decision makers on the board. It might be the best of both worlds as if Moshiri is willing to invest into the playing squad they may be able to ensure the risks are managed better than what they have been in the past. If the Ukraine situation resolves itself then we may get sponsorship back on tap.

777 for instance wouldn't add another hundred million to add to the kitty at the start of a clear FFP period and they wouldn't be able to provide in house sponsorship. They would need to be VERY good commercially just get back to what we had under USM.

Another stupid article "Graeme Sharp is deeply hurt that he hasn’t been able to watch Everton since January" . Wr dont want to see the club run this way fighting relegation again, ffp trouble with the league. Just still dont have any thoughts about the pain this has caused the fan base. Just more proof this board needs tp go

Sharp being hurt by not watching our games must be like a murderer complaining they've been sentenced to 15 years in The Bahamas all inclusive with brass on tap for free.

Think both are being used as patsies and convenient lightening rods to be honest mate. I think its hugely tragic to see Sharpey and his relationship with the fans damaged. Im not naïve, i criticised his appointment to the board, on a competency basis - the reason he is their is PR and hes being well remunerated for his trouble, but its still sad, maybe that's just me, i mean its Graeme Sharpe. - its a tragedy.

Overall, the whole board are gone since January has always been my view, there was never any coming back, even more convinced after Bills last statement and now this - smacked to me of a man who knows he is leaving and is kicking out, cornered, i suspect Sharpey's piece may be similar - all unnecessary really - particularly the timing.

As i said above, we really dont need the daily stories by the press or the leaks trying to destabilise - its purposeful in my opinion, absolute razor sharp focus has to go on performances, fighting and support.

Sharp has been pushing the party line of Chairman Bill long, long before Moshiri was on the scene.

He's made his bed, he can lie in it.

The person named as a director of Everton Football Club isn't the same as the one I idolised almost 40 years ago. That fellas long dead.
