Swapping Sharp for Ian Wright would be illuminating.
Ah I didn’t see that. I hope it’s deflection because as much as we all know we are a sh1t show behind the scenes, that would be even more shambolic. Some clubs have already made purchases, and our guy doesn’t even know his budget potentially.
After reading his autobiography I came to th w conclusion that he was a tosser and just looked after number 1 !!Sharp is a dim, duplicitous backstabber who knifed the fans for 30 pices of silver.
In addition he is weak and spineless: that sob story he gave to King was embarrassing. His position is totally self-inflicted and crying about it now while still taking the money is a disgrace.
See ya, Sharp.
Their absence speaks volumes.
The threat they feared is all in their heads - a guilty conscience needs no accuser.
Not sure they'd be very rich men if they wasted time reading my nonsense - that goes for a few others on here too….I’d fully expect investors to gauge fans feelings by reading threads like this in detail.
Yeah spot on. As if people in the highest levels of the business world with hundreds of millions at their disposal (if not billions) are going to care one iota what a bunch of people are chatting about on some internet forum they'll have never heard of. That is not how big money deals work anymore than Amazon or Apple setting their business sails according to what a bunch of random twitter polls say.Not sure they'd be very rich men if they wasted time reading my nonsense - that goes for a few others on here too
It's not like they are doing it themselves but you can be sure that they'll be gauging the online mood of Everton fans.Yeah spot on. Exactly my thoughts.Even without all of the blaming of fans, headlocks, not showing up to games and the untenable situation that creates, the fact the manager hasn't got a budget yet is a sackable offence alone.
A couple of weeks ago he should have been told, this is what we have to spend if we go down, this is what we have if we stay up. If we continue to be run like a pub team then no surprises we'll play like one.
blows my mind that nothing happened in the two hours after the final whistle. No resignations or sackings. These leeches are going to have to be crowbar'd out of the club or we'll be living this again in Goodisons last full season.
it's the total silence that gets me. Even if you aren't announcing resignations at least address what has been our worst season in nearly 70 years.
Last season was a warning, this season was a miracle... we won't be so lucky a third time.
Yeah I get your point; certainly no new investors are going to be deaf to the general mood around a fan-based business they are looking to get involved in.It's not like they are doing it themselves but you can be sure that they'll be gauging the online mood of Everton fans.
Not sure how likely it is that anyone will be reading this specific post but the reaction to that club tweet saying see you next year will 100% be picked up on.
The handling of the whole situation seems to suggest the board has absolutely no clue what to do or how they should do it.It's funny,
Even after the fallout from the Southampton game,
You'd think someone would advise them to either a/ apologize, or b/ if they're going to stick to their guns, at least spin it that they know they'll be a distraction to the team in a vital run in and that they will convene a fans forum (or some other modern fan inclusion nonsense) immediately after the season ends.
But no, nothing.
A damaging press release by a half cut chairman the night before a huge game and some pressure put on friendly journos to throw the owner under the bus.
I'm not excusing moshiri but christ, the blind eye still being turned to the board is crasy.
Joe Thomas is doing his best but it seems Kenwright could relocate Everton out of the city and take them to the third division and he'd still never get the Hicks and Gillette treatment because he's a top blue.
Honest question, has it happened before that the entire board has stayed away for half a season at a top flight club?
