The Everton Board Thread

They either resign, yeah, I know, or Moshiri sacks them. But with, apparently, new investors, it may be that its all on hold till that deal is signed off. No matter how rubbish, you cannot have a company with no board. Ok, Moshiri could put you, me and @Goat in charge for a week or so, but that is very unlikely. Nor a great idea.

We had Moshiri 4 months ago saying they were all doing a great job so I'm not confident he gets advised by anyone other than his own reflection in the mirror, rendering him completely oblivious to how poor a state we are in.

No public congratulations to Dyche or acknowledgement at all of the ‘achievement’ of staying up. You’d think there would been some sort of club statement prepared for either outcome on Sunday. Hopefully they’re busy signing off new investment

That knot in my stomach I've had the last few months won't go away until these horrible parasites have left the club completely.

….I’d fully expect investors to gauge fans feelings by reading threads like this in detail.
Hi MSP, and welcome.
Please fire everyone at board level and do a root and branch review of the whole organization under them. If people are in positions they aren't qualified for and benefitted from nepotism, please fire them too.

When hiring, knowledge of the city is not in fact a requirement. They don't need to "get the club". We just want highly qualified, highly competent, highly serious people who will bring Everton back to its former glory.
Thanks.

Any half well run club would have announced the changes to the structure and personnel at the top by now. Moshiri will only make changes if he has to do so he can get his hands on the investment. If it drags out we could still be starting this next season with the same bunch of clowns in charge and if so say goodbye to any chances of any decent signings and say hello to another relegation fight.

Very hard for [minority] investors who, by all accounts, may not even be directly converting their stadium-directed investment into club shares right away to hire-n-fire anyone. They may get a board seat or two from the off, but for as long as Moshiri calls the shots and the current board are united in preserving the status quo, expecting some sort of overnight sweeping changes at executive level could be well wide of the mark... unless it is a condition of their investment.

The changes don't even need to happen immediately, all Moshiri needs to do is release a statement that says "Over the next X months we'll be making some big structural changes to the leadership of the club and we'll share those changes as soon as possible".
