The first one is ridiculous as it cant be future proofed: what happens if Russia are off thre sanctions target list and China go on it and EFC get Chinese owners...or Arab owners for that matter if any gulf state is sanctioned?
That's how we've ended up where we are now: the bogeyman became Russia and we - through no fault of our own - were caught out.
50-1 model should be the norm...absolutely hate what the game has become. If I didn't love Everton with all of my heart I'd walk away from the game tomorrow.

It does seem a little arbitrary, considering who has recently bought into one of the clubs in the Premier League. We were being sponsored by companies who are owned by a citizen of a naughty country, so now we can’t spend 50p and are under investigation by the league. Other teams are owned by actual states who are doing the most terrible things and ‘spend away lads’. I’m not sure why Everton aren’t banging this drum just a little louder. No need to be insensitive like, but it all does seem very random.

Regarding condition 1 - sanctions imposed by whom? If Russia, China or any other country imposed sanctions on an individual (or assocaite) would those people and their clubs be subject to the rule, or are such sanctions by other countries just ignored? Any international law lads on here?

I think they’ve done everything they could to send us down. It was the support and a few good results and bad ones for the relegated teams which kept us up.
Anyway they are carrying on with a no show, no communication or plan for the season ahead.

Disappointing,
• No sanctions for Chairman that regularly throw their fan's under a bus.
• No sanctions either for Chairman and Board of Directors who go well and hide in an underground bunker for months. Very weak and watered down that new list in my opinion.
Things returned to normality then..
