Whoever comes in is never going to buy us with the view to turning us into a global super-power and Moshiri is currently useless whilst his gaffa is in the financial gulag.

Best we can hope for is someone to come in and make us into a competent (I’d settle for semi competent at this point) and well run club.

Absolutely no talk of their vision for the team and club... Absolutely disgusting.

All about expanding their "portfolio"... Classic Yank takeover ... Go away you horrible rats.
I’m scared too but that whole article was just speculative with no direct quote from the consortium so it doesn’t surprise me they’ve not shared a vision when they’ve not actually shared anything as yet.

Youve still not dared answer what these guys could do that's possibly worse than Moshiri.
Under Farhad we have had...

Rising ticket prices
Poor football operations
No communication
No improvement off the pitch
Fans an afterthought in almost all decisions
Break FFP regulations
Sell all our top players
Start a stadium build on a credit card by the look of things.

1. Ticket prices have barely risen in comparison to the other top flight clubs in the last 6 years

2. Fans an afterthought? So the decision to build at BMD over a cheaper, easier brownfield site and all the public consultations was egnoring the fans? Investing hundreds of millions in players egnoring the fans? Appointing Ancelotti and Lampard egnoring the fans?

3. We haven't broken FFP

4. We would be selling our top players under any owner as we are not an elite side. Leicester have great owners and have sold Kante, Mahrez, Chillwell, Maguire in recent years and will likely sell Tielemans this summer.

5. He spent £100 million on the foundation works of the new stadium whereas these penniless yanks would have had a bank loan put oot on the club.

There’s also no guarantee Kenyon would be involved in running the club either. All reports have said he’s linked the parties together and he may be involved, but nothing for sure

It stinks of an American group coming in, spending nothing but getting the stadium done and using that in a property deal

All very Coventry or Birmingham

Do u think he's going to ignore the 100m for the foundation works? He's going to want that back. Guess how that will be financed.

The consultations were an essential part to secure the planning permission.

He's still put the prices up.

So any owner will sell best players.

We are bound by restrictions placed upon us by the FA because of our FFP situation mate. No other club is.

What could these guys possibly do that is worse than Farhad? You can't answer it.

You do know Moshiri isn't being made to sell the club. He's CHOOSING to sell it to the bad men.
How do you reconcile that with him being better than these?

£372m loss over 3 seasons, COVID saved us getting a points deduction

"It is thought that his ideal scenario would be to remain in a smaller, reduced majority owner capacity or as a significant minority shareholder."

This sounds like Moshiri hedging his bets - get a pile of investment in and hang about in case the current environment changes after the war. Seems a bit delusional to me, but you know you don't fancy the new guys when you feel that the Mosh hanging about is almost reassuring.

The article also mentions one of the attractions for them is building hotels and developing land near the waterfront. Which is all good if it’s done responsibly and is a supplement to investment in the club itself. But I have a bad feeling that it wouldn’t be with this group.

They were supposed to give us the summer off to recover ffs
