Does his CV/experience/credentials stand out above all others internationally / in the football world ? The answer is probably no.
For too long our fanbase has been won over by any appointment so long as they're a Blue and/or have some kind of club/local connection.
Kenwright kept his role as chairman for decades solely on being "a blue" and even going back as far as the KEIOC days - how many evertonians were flouting the idea of Terry Leahy on the board as he was a local blue businessman ?
Its ingrained in our DNA and its held us back for too long yet if you dare question it the hounds of doom / the club bots want their pound of flesh.
