Another good one is " Apparently" as the first word. I am not trying to be smart. It is just that some people like to reveal they know something when they don't (like most of us). Is the use of the word ‘Yup’ to indicate what you claim, a specific feature of the English language? Does it have a name for when it is used in that way? I assume it must as you say it ‘almost always’ indicates what you claim.
