Imagine hypothetically MSP pulled out and 777 couldn't pass the fit and proper test...Then we'd really be up plop creek.

Never going to happen. Barring a takeover by Vladimir Putin and his henchmen, you can headchop, mass murder, and pillage your way into any club in the Premier League. Imagine the farce of a Tory government threatening to leave the ECHR while simultaneously expecting the Premier League to have any form of "fit and proper" ownership test. Laughable.

My understanding or the owners test is that since PIF it's been vigorously upscaled.

I'm not sure they would pass but as ever the devil is in the detail.

Agree, the FBI were investigating them not that long ago over some of their dealings, also they have appear to have access to less money than MSP do so the only way I could see them taking on a PL club would be if they had linked up with a wealthy benefactor.
