The Everton Board Thread

Some of the responses on the thread going on about "awful timing".

When is good timing then? Wasn't good timing when we won 1 in 13, wasn't good timing when we were in a relegation scrap, isnt good timing on a match day, isn't good timing when we are out of season.

well, maybe not the game against a Ukrainian side that's organised to raise money? And let people enjoy their summer and not cry over footy.

New stadium being built
Manager "they" wanted
New director of football
Communication by the owner that players will come in

Why didn't any of them get into the voted fans forum?

Because they're all attention seeking and want to be the biggest blues.

Stop causing toxic divide.

We dont play Kiev on Saturday so that point is wrong

Happy clappers will always complain about timing because they don't have the club's best interests.

Those who support the board are against the club and holding us back. Let's hear them come out and make coherent points about their position rather than having a pop at fans wanting to be proactive.

It's not a match day, as I already stated. New stadium is being built but is still yet to have finance found for it. The manager "they" wanted out of a choice of 2 because noone else would touch us with a barge pole because of the owner/board. New dof, after going through 2 because the owner/board intervenes and doesn't allow them to do their role. And communication from the owner doesn't mean much. Words are easy, actions are harder and we have seen 5/6 years of his actions to be able to make a judgement on him.

So "they" as you put it should let people enjoy their summer and not cry over footy. But when we were losing every game and fighting relegation and people were crying over footy it also wasn't the right time.

Should Mosh just continue for another 10 years of sacking dof after dof, manager after manager, intervening in transfers, overseeing relegation scraps because there is no perfectly right time, or be let off year after year because he makes an empty statement when never basically never showing his face at the ground? It's not toxicity. It's wanting better.

Fantastic post.

Sadly we live in the instant gratification era of social media and unless its happening NOW then some are never happy.

Im more than happy to wait until the end of deadline day before assessing the direction we look to be heading this coming season.

Since last season there has been a fan favourite manager installed, new DOF who has been given full control - lets see what happens next before wetting the bed.

A manager you have not supported at any point, might I add

Instant gratification is a nonsense argument too and you know it. We've not been competitive for 30 plus years and fans just want to not dread watching their team play. We want to be away from relegation worries and to not be ran in shambolic fashion leading to financial problems.

If that's too much to ask then whats the point. We may as well find another sport

27 years mate.

I think people have been quite patient.

The time to protest was under the BU when the majority sneered at them for taping the meeting with BK.

Doesn't matter now FFP is firmly in place and we'll never win a league title again outside of a freak 5000/1 miracle.

Whilst the running of the club the last few years has been dissapointing I think a lot of fans are more unhappy with modern day football in general than of the club being "held back" by DBB / Kenwrong like attracting a new Chairman and CEO would have us competing with those 6 teams whos income dwarfs ours and always will.

I can assure you im not disappointed with modern football.

The running of our club has been a disgrace and we as a fanbase should not sit idly by and watch it burn.

Action might not change anything, but at the very least we should TRY.

Why the hell are you still pretending we’re all demanding to be competing with the top 6?
