In what other institution have you ever heard of a CEO saying they want another job and their current employers are totally cool with them carrying on in the meantime? We really are a shambles.Same as Baxendale’s round the clock search for alternative employment.

Like I said, shambles!Soft brush bill Probaly gave her a pay rise
Not just that but you hear these stories about how her office is used as a storeroom as she works away from the club most of the time. £900k a year and all she has to do is show her face at the match on a Saturday, not bad work if you can get it.Same as Baxendale’s round the clock search for alternative employment.
I never said it has nothing to do with or points tally. I said if we got to game 5 and had no points that would not solely be because we did not buy a striker. Not sure how you came to that conclusion. It boggles my mind that you can have watched the first two games, seen a complete absence of goal threat and still say that has nothing to do with our points tally. Clearly having no strikers won't be the only reason for our points total but it will be a large contributory factor.
As to your point about all of our business not being done early, that's true. However, we sold our top scorer from last season, our other forward has had major fitness issues over the past 12 months, so it is not unreasonable for supporters to assume that a forward would be prioritised. Yet here we are, about to start a third game without a recognised striker in our starting 11. You can say what you like but no other premier league team will have started their first three matches without a forward on the pitch. It's mismanagement.
Yeah, not sure why you think we'll be getting the right players in after five years of not replacing Lukaku, but ok. You're obviously very relaxed about our striker situation, I'm not.I never said it has nothing to do with or points tally. I said if we got to game 5 and had no points that would not solely be because we did not buy a striker. Not sure how you came to that conclusion.
Of course we all would have liked a Richarlison replacement and atleast another attacking option by now. But we don't and i am sure we have been working on bringing the players we want in.
I'm happy that we arent panic buying poor players just to satisfy the needs of impatient supporters. I would rather we get the right players. If that takes a little longer and they miss some games so be it.
As i said we won't be the only club leaving buisness so late. It happens to all clubs.
