The Everton Board Thread

Yeah, not sure why you think we'll be getting the right players in after five years of not replacing Lukaku, but ok. You're obviously very relaxed about our striker situation, I'm not.
We have had Calvert Lewin and Richarlison both play as strikers since Lukaku left.

I would say i am more hopeful than confident. Hopeful that lessons from previous recruitment's have been learned and that we stick to our targets.

Seems a pretty massive gamble to blow off the first 3 matches without getting some striker cover in given how close we were to relegation last year / Richy sale / new stadium build
Make that the whole of August.

I originally predicted 4 points at best, if we don’t win tomorrow we will be bottom on zero to 1 point by the end of August.

I'm not on here to defend the board by a long way, but it does seem like funds have been made available to Thelwell and Lampard, certainly enough to have secured a decent striker, even if just on loan at worst. If Thelwell and Lampard have chosen not to do so, either because they want to spend on other positions (ie Onana) or because they want to wait til the end of the earth for the first choice striker (ie Broja) that's primarily on them.

They haven’t provided anything, it’s pretty much been the Richarlison sale

The morale is bad again.

Years of bad management now taking fruition and last season should have been a warning, but they have learned nothing and don’t have the nous or ability to reverse the slide.

I know it’s only 3 games in, but I’m convinced we are finally going down this season.

Other clubs getting stronger, we are following what Villa did when they went out of the league.

Anyone who thought we could get better and change course without a clear out at board room level and a change of ownership, is entirely wrong and missing the point.

Nothing changed after our near miss last season so we are very unlikely to be as fortunate this season. It is inevitable we go down eventually unless things change urgently and they won't while the same decision makers continue to make idiotic decisions that hurt the club.

SACK THE BOARD

These charlatans will continue to get a free pass from most of the fan base because they are too cowardly to protest against them for fear of being labelled like our red headed step brothers across the park or our neighbors down the 62

Said fans will happily stand by and watch Lampard and Thelwell be the fall guys because of the ineptitude of the board and won’t say boo to a ghost if they bring in the wrong choice again
