Be surprised if he shows his face again this season. Knives coming out for him now, not just at the ground but in the media.

He will. People forget this fella is a highly arrogant , borderline megalomaniac who has surrounded himself with people willing to placate him for his and their own benefits.

The media team will already be preparing retorts for the coming days and weeks. Once again many will fall for it sadly.

It will be the usual routines

*shame tactics to put off negative opinions
*buzzwords like togetherness, toxicity, fans uniting
*support the team

It’s all the same tedious stuff. And it works every time.

…..not even sure who ‘The Board’ consists of & who can sack them.

BK, DBB, Thelwell & Sharp I think. Presumably a few more but not Moshiri. From a governance perspective I assume only Moshiri can sack them otherwise they have to resign.

Maybe ‘Sack the Board’ is the collective phrasing to say we need a new owner. It appears the only way to start a new regime.

i’m not exactly sure what we’re asking for here & how we make it happen.

what other company would keep on an employee, who was basically given notice over a year ago, with the unbelievable premise that she has to find another job first... Welcome to Bill Kenwrights Everton folks, money to burn, not his like, never his. clap, clap, clap.

Of all the many, many things that indicate the incapacity of the people at the top of this club to do anything right, this is the one that has always stuck out to me the most.

Put aside that this is a football club, and just look at it as a business: in what world do you let a very public employee basically say, "Yeah, I'm getting out of here as soon as I can find something else," and then a year later (!!!!!) she's still in the same position. Any owner / leader with half a bit of sense would have had her out the day after all that nonsense was released last year.

It boggles the mind how such buffoonery is allowed at the board level, until you realize it really just comes down to one man - Moshiri - who not only puts up with it but apparently actively enables it. There's your core problem. And that's one that can't be fixed until he sells or has some sort of miraculous road-to-Damascus moment.

Hearing the “strategic review” always makes me chuckle
