The Everton Board Thread

And significant too. The Echo reaches people and families far beyond what the social media "echo chamber" does.

It's a simple and powerful headline.

I think 20 years ago something like this would have been enormous, but it's not insignificant now either. Front page is very interesting - it never tends to be positive when sport moves off the back page onto the front page.

He hasn't done his best at all.

Doing your best would mean he would have put successful professionals in the most important positions, starting at boardroom level.

The fella is a joke and needs to sod off with the rest of the clowns

This. Borrowing his mate’s money to throw aimlessly at a wall is not the purpose of being an owner. You have to actually be able to run your business competently, he has proven that he cannot do that. He’s shown no intent to put an actual structure in place that is befitting of a 21st century football club.

I'm sure Bill would love to be at the helm for the new stadium, but if we get relegated this season I wonder if that would be the thing that would cause him to choose to step down? He's 77, there will be a lot of anger thrown his way after relegation, does he really need the hassle? Wonder if he'd take an honourary role so he could still be a part of the new stadium but step away from the day-to-day exec job.

He doesn’t deserve that. As a fanbase we should collectively eschew any connection between Kenwright and the stadium, he needs to be remembered only as our worst chairman of all time when we’re finally rid of him.
