The Everton Board Thread

Historically it was supported by the Jewish community in and around London, though. It maybe less prevelant now, but it is intrinsically linked with the Jewish community, hence why they still refer to themselves as the "yid army".
They reclaimed the term that was used as derision from opponents. Same way wolves call themselves yam yams. The jewish community don’t like the term being used

A competent DoF and manager over the last 6yr & this protest doesn't go past the lips of the usual anti board mob.
What exactly are you protesting against. Money on transfer, yes
Stadium, yes
People saying its badly run by Bill. The owner is an billionaire accountant, pretty sure that's his remit but people will attack Bill as they dare not attack Moshiri due to the stadium

I do not feel your comments in the final paragraph are supported by reading the recent posts on this thread.

Who's appointing these people then?

There's enough blame to go around. I don't think there's a single competent individual at director level in our club.

I blame Moshiri, it’s collective responsibility regarding him and others.

We won’t get out of the hole we’re in until there is fundamental and wholesale change at the club. Even if there is an unlikely saviour hidden in the ranks, there’s too much historic baggage now for any existing employee to lead us out of this.

So, Moshiri should sack the board today, before Southampton and any Kenwright/DBB protests. If we lose that game, he should sack Lampard. If we then lose to West Ham with a caretaker/Fat Sam in charge, he should sack the entire first team squad. After that, regardless of results, he should work his way through the rest of the club structure, sacking everyone, including the cleaning staff, until he gets down to the Under-8s (you can’t blame the kids), before sacking himself.

It’s the only way to be sure.

DBB, Graeme Sharp, Prentice - whose appointing these to the board - one man. Trying to make sure he keeps himself in a job. Wanted Roberto Martinez last year on a part time basis. There's meddling going on with transfers etc in the past few years, brands basically said it. Leave it to the professionals and get them out.

The likes of Stubbs now coming out and saying cant say a bad word about him, all to keep himself in charge.

Been over a week since Brighton now, and about 5 days since the front of the local paper emphatically called for communication, and after yet another limp defeat which further damaged the already untenable position of the manager. Yet we're still to hear anything at all from the Board.

Can just picture what they're all currently too busy doing this afternoon instead. Moshiri will be sat in Monaco watching the Premier League years, Kenwright will be frantically ringing up his mates in the media to rally up some good coverage and DBB will be looking online through the Dunhelm January sales.

A competent owner doesn't blindly let an idiot run his business into the ground. That's moshiri's first fault. A competent owner doesn't meddle in day to day running of the business. That is moshiri's second fault. A competent owner doesn't go rogue with Comms and phone his mate up live on air to have a chat about the running of his business and makes veiled racist comments about a current player's family. That is moshiri's third fault.

The board don't need anything more saying about them than "get rid".

Prentice isn't on the board is he? I thought he was just the head of comms? Absolutely ridiculous if he is.
